(A/N: Dazai's going to try his best to help Kunikida relax more. Without further ado, enjoy!)
For what was probably the millionth time at this point, Kunikida had pulled an all-nighter in order to get work done. He'd fallen behind and he always hated doing that, so being the workaholic that he was, he decided to forgo sleep in order to get things done. Logically, he knew he really shouldn't do that, but it wasn't like that had ever stopped him. And he had tried to sleep after awhile, but his thoughts decided it would be a good idea to keep him awake again. That was always fun.
At one point when Dazai finally showed up at the agency right as the work day ended, he noticed that his boyfriend was in a serious state of sleep deprivation. He definitely pulled another all-nighter. He really needs to stop doing that. It's not at all healthy. My poor amazing beloved workaholic boyfriend known as Kunikida-kun...
Kunikida was sitting at his desk and working. Or trying to, anyway. He wasn't succeeding much given how he was nodding off every few minutes. It was really annoying and whenever he tried to force himself to stay awake, that failed too. Which only led to more frustration. Just what he needed.
Dazai walked over. "Kunikida?"
Kunikida glanced up at Dazai, still struggling to keep his eyes open.
Dazai instantly got worried when he saw the state his boyfriend was in. "Alright. You're stopping that paperwork right now."
"I'm almost done," Kunikida protested.
"Have you seen yourself? You're practically falling asleep and you look like you haven't slept in a week. No more working."
Kunikida fell silent. Was it really that bad?
Dazai pulled Kunikida up from his desk, put an arm around him, and helped him walk out of the agency.
Kunikida wanted to argue and insist that he was almost done doing his paperwork, that he was so close to being done, but he didn't know if that was the case anymore. His work had been piling up so for all he knew, he still had a whole lot to do. Plus, he couldn't deny how tired he was.
Soon, the couple reached Kunikida's house.
Dazai picked Kunikida up and set him on the couch.
Kunikida rubbed his eyes, trying to stay awake.
Dazai noticed. "Kunikida, the whole reason I took you out of work was so you could sleep. Don't try and fight it."
Kunikida looked at Dazai. "I can't deny being tired, but I still had work to do."
"The work can wait. You need to look after yourself more."
"I know..."
"Did you pull an all-nighter again last night?"
"...Yeah."
"Why?"
"At first, it was just because I was trying to catch up on some work. Then it was..." Kunikida hesitated.
Dazai looked at Kunikida questioningly.
"...I don't know, it was just one of those random late-night times where my thoughts decide to attack me. If I'm being honest, that's been happening a lot more lately. It's partially why I've been working so much. I'm just trying to distract myself from having to think about any of those things."
"Aww, I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about it."
"But I always worry about you. And anyways, you shouldn't have to do all the worrying. Let me do it now and then, too."

Kunikidazai Oneshots
FanfictionMuch as the title (and cover) would imply, this is going to be a book of oneshots dedicated to Dazai and Kunikida. It's my honest belief that this ship doesn't get enough attention and it's criminally underrated. So I've made the decision to give it...
