(A/N: I'm back! This time, one of our favorite trios will be ice skating. Without further ado, enjoy!)
It was the dead of winter and if Kunikida was being honest, he really loved this time of year. It meant he could go skating, which he'd always enjoyed doing since he was a kid. There was something about it that just relaxed him and let him feel at ease and forget all his responsibilities for awhile.
While doing his paperwork, he flipped open his notebook and wrote down: Plan to go skating on your next day off.
Dazai was watching Kunikida, slightly confused. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but something seemed different about the idealist. He appeared to be more relaxed than usual.
Kunikida glanced over at Dazai. "What's up?"
"Nothing, you just seem more relaxed," Dazai replied.
Kunikida nodded. His boyfriend wasn't wrong, he was actually feeling pretty calm right now. "I am."
Dazai smiled. He was always glad to see Kunikida like this.
Kunikida smiled back. "Hey, Dazai? I have something to ask you."
"What is it?"
"I'm planning on going ice skating over at the river on my next day off. Do you want to join me?"
Oh no...how do I tell him I don't know how to skate? I don't want to disappoint him... Dazai thought. Of course he knew Kunikida wouldn't be disappointed in him, but that didn't erase the feelings.
"Dazai?" Kunikida asked, breaking into Dazai's thoughts.
Dazai blinked. "Sorry, what?"
"You don't have to join me if you don't want to, I was just asking."
"No, I'd love to!" Maybe I can just make up some sort of excuse if he ends up asking me why I'm not actually skating.
"Great!" Kunikida wrote a few more things down in his notebook.
Atsushi walked over to the two agency members he'd grown to see as parents. "I overheard you guys talking about going skating. Would it be ok if I came with you?"
"Sure!" Dazai grinned.
"Yeah, I don't see why not," Kunikida added.
Atsushi smiled. "Yay, thanks! I'll look forward to it."
Kunikida smiled back. "Same here. Would nine AM this Saturday work for you guys?"
"Kuuuunnnniiiiikkkkiiiiiiiiddaaaaaa...that's way too early," Dazai complained.
Kunikida laughed. "Fair enough. How about eleven-thirty?"
"Yeah, that works!"
"Sounds good," Atsushi chimed in.
"Great." Kunikida wrote that down.
~Time skip~
Kunikida woke up that Saturday and did everything he needed to do in order to get ready. He was in a fairly good mood since he was preparing to do one of his all-time favorite activities with his beloved boyfriend and the one he'd come to view as a son despite being only a few years older than him. After going through his usual routine, he searched his closet for a coat and earmuffs. He put them on, grabbed a few extra pairs of earmuffs just in case, and then began to head out.
Atsushi did the same, but then he remembered something: he wasn't really the best at skating. He wasn't too worried, though. He figured Kunikida would be willing to help him if he asked. He was mostly happy since he got to spend time with two of the people he was closest to.

Kunikidazai Oneshots
FanfictionMuch as the title (and cover) would imply, this is going to be a book of oneshots dedicated to Dazai and Kunikida. It's my honest belief that this ship doesn't get enough attention and it's criminally underrated. So I've made the decision to give it...
