Sienna POV:
"What the fuck" I sigh looking at myself in the mirror. I just got to my baby shower. I literally did not want to get out the bed. Zayden told me he may not be able to make it. I haven't seen him since that night and he will only answer my text.
"Congratulations Mama" I hear and turn around to see Jahseh.
"I can't believe it's fucking real" I say looking in the mirror one more time before facing him again. This would be my first time physically seeing him since, about half a year ago, or longer.
"You look good" he compliments and I nod. That was fucking weird. I'm not use to the fact that I'm pregnant. I'm seven months which didn't go well last time either. Luckily I still feel movement and the baby is doing fine. Of all the days to throw up he chose for it to be today. All morning I was throwing up. Which also made me not want to even come.
"Thank you, I mean"
"Oh my god, look at you" I hear and see Ms. Cleopatra rush over to me from the door. I smiled as she gave me a tight hug. "You look so good, your stomach is sitting up, it's a boy right"
"Yes" I smiled giving her a hug back. Im shocked they even came. No one is really here yet. A few co workers from my last job that I invited came. A couldn't of people I met and speak to occasionally. A few of Zay's friends are here, hes not even here, I'm not even sure if he'll show up. I didn't have many people to invite and definitely should of booked a smaller area but I didn't want to be cramped up.
"How far along are you" she asked
"Seven months " I say rubbing my belly unintentionally.
"Aw I am so happy for you. When Jahseh told me you invited us to the baby shower, for one I was shook. I had no idea you were even pregnant again. Then shook you'd even invite him given your past and how bad that day went. I figured he'd tell me not to go because of his new girlfriend, just all over the place but I'm-
"Ma' you doing a lot. Let her go" Jahseh says cutting her off.
"I'm sorry. Thank you though. I got you gifts but he told me he didn't know anything so hopefully everything is fine. I had thought the baby shower was his as well." She says.
"Thank you. I'll appreciate anything I get because I haven't bought a single thing yet" I say and laugh timidly. I ignored her last comment. She just mentioned him having a girlfriend and knew things didn't end on the best situation. Why assume it would be his baby shower?
"I really appreciate you having us" she adds giving me another hug. In my head I replied saying I wanted to atleast have some kind of family to me here but, I'd never say it out loud to her, or Jahseh.
