"Nah when this start happening" Stokes says. I was showing him a video from my phone when Sienna finally decided to text back.

"You're hype as shit over a one word text" I laughed.

"Nah bro you said you haven't seen her nor talked to her yet yall texting" he says following me to the kitchen.

"I haven't seen her. Us texting is hardly talking she don't answer back"

"Y'all getting back together" he says hype as shit.

"What no, I just said I haven't seen her or spoken to her really. She blaming everything on work but I'm not dumb she just doesn't want to see me. I don't blame her" I shrug, " if she did I could of invited her out to the brunch we had the other day"

"Nah y'all need something more private. Maybe invite her over for dinner. Without Kai-"

"Kai would be the only way for me to really convince her to come. She not giving a fuck about me no more Stokes" I laughed off the last part. That kinda hurt.

"Call her"

"I've asked to she said no"

"Why"

"She be at work" I say looking at him to see if he catches onto the issue I'm having with her.

"At work- her job is at home. You can literally go outside more and have a chance of seeing her, why wait until she comes to you" he says. "You don't think she owe you an apology or something right" Stokes questioned me.

"She don't work from home no more, she said she wants more spending money. "

"Spend- she saves half the money she makes. Jah if you don't just call that girl, someone else going to get her and she'll make time for them while you still here, waiting on a text back"

"I want to call, but I don't want to interfere with her day. No body else better try to get her. I'm not about to force her to talk to me though. Last time I did physically see her she barley even talked to me then."

"Let me text her, from your phone. I'm probably still blocked or some shit.

"For what"

"Just let me text her" he says with a big ass smile on his face.

"Fuck it Stokes I don't care" I laugh knowing she won't answer back immediately. Her okay was to a message I sent out weeks ago. I passed him my phone and slouched over onto the counter letting him do his thing.
