Jahseh Pov:

"Was he walking last time he was here" Ma asked.

"uh, I don't think so, he still relatively new to walking so he falls a lot" I tell her.

I had both the boys with me to visit Ma today. I got off work at 5 and planned on only bringing Kai. When texting Nana she told me she won't be able to stop by because she wanted to focus on getting work done. She said a rush of emails came out and she had to call someone about something. Truthfully I have no clue what she actually does at work but she be stuck staring at her laptop for hours and she uses a tablet. She be on and off the phone and sending hella emails to people.

I told her I would stop by and watch King for an hour or two so she didn't have to worry about it. Since the boys played together a few days ago Kai has been asking to see him again. He said he hardly gets to see him. I was about to argue that he's wrong but technically I see him a lot and it's rare for Kai. He's either not home or sleeping. Nana will sneak in and out so she said she hardly sees Kai too.

"You are growing up so fast, ugh I wish I could see you more" she tells King playing with him. Kai ran off to do something. I just don't want him to feel jealous about Ma paying more attention to King. Not even just to Ma to anyone, I'm glad he still wants to be around Sienna and doesn't feel jealous with her. Usually all attention is surrounding him beings he was the youngest.

"You could but you choose not to" I tell her.

"Jahseh how if she doesn't bring him around. You live near her so you can see her while she's out"

"Ma she couldn't bring him if she wanted to, her car been in the shop for a while now. Yours however has been sitting in the garage."

"Like she'd let me over"

"Has she ever refused your company" I asked her.

"Jahseh the girl got mad when I babysat him"

"Look at how you handled it. She's a first time mom, not only that she's the only person he's ever really been around. She didn't even get mad she just wanted to be updated and you got mad"

"I did update her"

"It's how you did it, you never text back and then had an attitude on the phone" I say defensively. She not about to start this shit because I'll surly tell Kai come on and pack King up in the car too.

"She had text like five minutes into leave and again twenty minutes in. Then thirty minutes in and she has you call me up saying she's on her way"

"I feel like you had him way longer than thirty minutes. She was asking for an update but we had this conversation before, you shouldn't expect her to come over so you're familiar with him, make the effort to go see her as well. Sienna doesn't deny you from being around him, holding him or nothing. If anything she'd probably say your still his grandma, you just don't see them"

"You're back on your Sienna bullshit"

"Ma what, you know what I'll leave" I say and she looked at me.

"Why are you leaving? I'm saying you're back acting like the world starts and ends when she says so. Jahseh what is it that made you feel like she's the one? I've never asked you this before"

"Her, her personality, her nurturing qualities and she's so fucking selfless sometimes. Then I dead ass what he's her take in my child as her own and she doesn't like kids, did it for me. She's done a lot of shit simply for me or how I'd react. I could talk about her for a while but I'm quite sure you don't want to hear it." I tell her.
