"I liked everything. Thank you Zayden"

"Did you read the card Si Si" he asked. We were on facetime. Something we haven't done in way too long.

"Yes I read it"

"Was I able to talk" he asked and I laughed a little bit.

"I'm sorry. Although I meant it I'm sorry. I hated how it felt when you'd do it to me I should've never did it back to you. I felt, well I feel embarrassed though. A child asked about my wellbeing and was scared of you doing something to me. That's—

"What child"

"It doesn't matter"

"Talk. Our communication been off and I know it's my fault but if I didn't want to hear what you had to say I wouldn't answer the phone everytime. That's why I do it"

"Jahseh— when you got mad the day of my meeting Jahseh had um. He said Kai told him about you pushing me and how you were really mean or scary and he had been checking on me ever since that night he stayed" I tell him and he stayed silent.

"I really be trying my hardest not to hurt you or put my hands on you like that. I don't hit you  but I know pushing you is bad sometimes too. I didn't want to, uh I didn't expect us to get fighting like we use to. You not the only person to piss me off but it- it's different when you do. It isn't the same"

"Yeah, it hurts more. I think when I be giving you space it's more so for me. Especially with how long I'd leave this time usually I'd wait a day or two or just a night. After the charges though I didn't want to really do no- like hurt you for real and then have to deal with it"

"After what charges"

"Cidney pressed charged on me. She lied but I was drunk and Dukes took her side basically. It wasn't uh, real charges but she called the cops" he says.

"She couldn't stand Cidney. I swear if she would have met you any other day she'd like you. After her first time re-meeting you she liked you"

"I really like how she welcomed me after all that and everything between us she's heard and knew" I say with a smile and I caught him fight back a smile too. Zayden is a mommas boy for sure. Obviously the only crazy thing is he's a mommas boy and struggles so hard in relationships. His social and emotional skills are terrible. So he results to something physical to get his point across or to just express himself.
