Jahseh Pov:

"Are you okay" I asked over the phone. I don't know what it was but the memory of her crying having a panic attack while looking at me came crashing into my head.

"Yes, I'm fine Jahseh" she said laughing. "You just asked me that. Are you okay"

"Sienna are you sure. Am I bothering you, do—

"Jah I'm fine. What's wrong" she asked in a more serious tone.

"Can I- you can you come over. I'll go to you even I just need to see you" I tell her. I feel sick to my stomach.

"Jahseh you just saw me" she said and I could tell she was smiling.

"You don't understand Sienna. I—

"It's okay. I'll come over" she says and I checked the time it was ten forty six at night and the weather felt nice. Both boys were sleeping already.

"Thank you, I can go to you if yo—

"I'm on my way Jahseh stop worrying, there's nothing wrong with me. I swear I'm okay" she spoke. "See you in a few, I'll go to the back again" she said and hung up. My palms even felt clammy. I don't think I've ever been so scared of losing someone until she was having those panic attacks in front of me. The tears pouring out her eyes, her cries, how scared she look from not being able to catch her breath.

Maybe ten minutes pass and I see her approaching the back door. I opened it before she could knock.

"Take him he's heavy" she says and placed King in my arms before I was fully ready.

"Do you have plans for tomorrow" I ask her carrying him to the living room and laying him down.

"Zayden is supposed to be coming by to help with King and spend some time with him" she says she took a deep breath making me instantly stare at her and check her over. I don't know why I'm paranoid about her not being okay. She's standing in front of me perfectly fine.

"Damn"

"What's wrong" she asked sitting on the opposite side of King —across from me, as she started rubbing his back.

"I'm off tomorrow I was going to ask you to spend the day with me" I tell her truthfully.

"You're always welcome to give a hand to Zayden and I" she smiled, I sucked my teeth.

"No offense to you but with the way he pulled shit I still want to—

"Okay I get it" she cut me off.

"That shit wasn't right regardless the situation"

"What wasn't right"

"Nothing, nevermind" I say lowly pulling my phone out. I text Zayden asking him 'why are you trying so hard for Mama now' before giving her my attention again.

"Mhm" she hummed.

"How was work Nana" I asked her. She inhaled deeply before sighing and looking at me.

"It was okay, same as usual. Send a few emails get a call, end the call, snap at Bubby, send a few emails blah blah blah.

"He not that bad for real. He just like fucking with you"

"Don't I know it. What's your thoughts on daycares and nannies" she asked me. She went to pull her hoodie off and her phone chimed. "Well looks like I may be available tomorrow, Zayden canceled" she said after reading the message.
