Jahseh pov:

"So what's the plan for us like long term. I just want to make sure we both have the same goals as far as our relationship" Monica says as soon as I stepped back out the bathroom. I was throwing the wipes I used on her in ten trash. As I told her I did come by, it was around eleven when I got here though.

"Huh"

"Where are we headed" she asked sitting up a bit more. I grabbed my shirt off her floor and placed it on. I had my boxers on already. She was naked under the covers. "Like I know it's early but..." she spoke as I toned her out.

I wasn't thinking of anything long term. I got horny and met her at the perfect time. Yeah we fucked a few times but I don't know her enough to think about making a commitment. She don't even know I got a kid. We only hit each other when it's after ten that's strictly sex hours, especially for me. The sex after the first time was good so I kept it going. I don't want a roster like Stokes got going on. One person to casually fuck and leave is fine by me. Definitely don't need people to be in and out of Kai life or to even know about Kai.

"Never mind, asshole" she says throwing a pillow at me pulling me out of my thoughts. "Just thought there was something there"

"There's not" I say before I even thought it through. I would of reassured her there was but it's still too early to tell to help lead her along but ,fucked that up.

"The fuck" she mumble rolling her eyes. "We'll at least you're honest Jahseh. I'm just a fuck to you and nothing else"

"That's not what I meant"

"What else would you have meant? It's pretty fucking clear"

"Monica it came out wrong"

"I don't even know why I asked when I already knew the answer. That's bad on my part"

"You don't already know the answer, stop thinking you know everything and you don't. I didn't mean to say it like that but if you would let me finish you'd know that" I tell her and sit on the bed by her. I have to butter this lie up so well.

"Jahseh I don't need you to lie to me. If you don't see us going anywhere that's fine. We can just get out of each others lives now. I'm not about to play games with anyone. I told you when I met you I was looking for something long term and you agreed, if you don't see that with me then by all means leave me the fuck alone"

"That's the thing I do, I see long term with you. I've text you everyday when I get the chance. I just, I told you I'm fresh out of a bad relationship so I'm still trying to get my head right and figure out how I feel. Trust me I'm not trying to play you. Monica if I wasn't serious about this I wouldn't be here now"

"Yeah right"

"I'm dead ass serious. Listen, it's still soon for me and I don't want to rush. I want to get to know you and we feel each other out before we start talking long term and relationship. Let's build a friendship and some kind of foundation" I tell her placing my hand on her leg over the covers.

"Okay, I'm sorry for over reacting. It's just-

"It's fine" I cut her off and lean in for a kiss. She kissed back and I reached down grabbing her night gown from off the floor. She put it on before pulling me towards her by my arm. I leaned in and she hugged me.

"Thank you" she says and her hand stroked my forehead and hair. The gesture immediately made me think of Sienna. Recently not too many things do that anymore. The conversation me and Kaisen had could be the reason though. I really had no clue he felt like that. I don't even know how to fix that situation. "When do you have to go to work"
