Two months had passed and no one had seen Mike. There was no sign from him. Maybe he was going to leave her alone. She tried moving on with her life and got a job as a receptionist at the company her father worked as a janitor. She was starting to show already.

They had told her that if by any chance she saw him, just to walk away from the location and call the police immediately. So, she always kept her phone with her. Wherever she would go.

It was her second day working. It was an easy job. Just answering phones and greeting clients. She was just hanging up the phone when she felt someone at the desk. She started her greeting as she raised her head and stopped mid sentence. Those deep blue eyes were staring back at her. "Hello, there. I have a meeting with Mister Peters and afterwards, you and I are going to have a conversation." He said winking at her and walking away from her desk.

She quickly grabbed her phone and headed for the elevators. She tried calling the emergency number but she was so nervous that she kept dropping her phone. The elevator kept taking forever, she kept looking back. Finally, the elevator arrived and she got in. There was no service in the elevator. Dammit! She started crying, she could barely breathe. All she needed to do was make it into the parking lot, there was always an officer waiting on her.

The doors opened and her lungs filled with air. She saw the patrol car and ran towards it waving her arms. She knocked on his window and saw his lifeless body leaning against the seat with a bullet hole on his head. She started to scream but a strong hand covered her mouth and she felt that familiar sting on her neck blacking out.

When she woke up, she felt a familiar pain on her arms. No, not again as she looked up and saw her arms tied up above her head. Her mouth was gagged. She tried moving her legs, but they were also tied up. She felt the bed shift and Mike got on top of her cradling her hips. "Now, why couldn't you have waited to speak to me like I told you to?" He took out a knife and placed her on her throat, the cold blade sending shivers down her spine. "I'm going to remove the gag, you better not scream." He removed it and she took a deep breath.

"Mike, they are looking for you. Why did you take me again?" She pleaded.

"You're mine, Alice. I can't let you go. And now that we are going to be a family, we need to stick together." He said, rubbing her stomach.

"How do you know?" She asked, shocked.

"I've been watching you. I'm so glad you decided to keep it and didn't listen to your mom or stupid friend."

"Mike, please. Let me go. I don't want this anymore." She started crying, scared for her life and her baby's life.

"Shh, what are you so afraid of? I'm right here." He said, stroking her cheek. "Sorry it took me so long to go get you, but after your last escape, I had to find somewhere else new for us to live." He said getting off the bed.

"Where are we?" She said looking around.

"You're going to love this place. It's smaller, but no one will bother us here. There isn't another living soul, maybe for hours." He said laughing. "We'll finally be happy, no one will bother us."

"Untie me, please." She said pulling on her binds.

"No, I'm sorry. Not until I know for sure you won't try anything. Last time it hurt what you did, not only physically, but emotionally. How could you do that, after everything?"

"Mike, you need help. Let me go and I'll make sure you get the help you need. Please, just untie me and we can go. That would make me so happy."

"I'm not crazy!" He yelled, hitting his head. "Don't you ever tell me I'm crazy!"

"I didn't say you were crazy, Mike."

"Everyone back home always called me crazy, even my parents. But, I showed them."

The fire, he probably caused the fire that killed his parents. She swallowed hard. He was capable of killing people that loved him, what would he do to her? Should she give up for the sake of hers and her baby's life? No, she couldn't give up. She'd done it before, she would do it again. She would get out of here, alive.
