The Goddess Of What??? (Loki fanfic)

Chapter 5: "You better not throw up on my ship."

"Nebula and I... are the daughters of Thanos."

"Your father is trying to kill my family." Charlotte's hands start to glow green.

"Oh, boy. Stepfather. Technically, and she hates him as much as you do. So please lets all chill the F out and go get this MF." Quill says and stand between Gamora and Charlotte. He holds his hands out in surrender when Loki approaches Charlotte from behind.

"Darling, they are our only way to Knowhere." He whispers in her ear and Charlotte's hands stop glowing. She takes a deep breath.

"Alright, but it does not mean I trust you guys." She points at Gamora and Nebula. Just then, Heimdall walks into the courtyard with Steve, Nat and Dr. Strange.

"Strange." Charlotte mumbles and Loki can feel her anger bubbling up again.

"Sweetheart." Loki grabs her hand, but she pulls away from his grip. She walks up to Strange.

"Dr. Sloan." He says with a fake smile and extends his hand to Charlotte.

"Dr. Strange. I'm only going to say this once. Don't fuck with me." She says with the same fake smile on her face. "I know you think you are powerful, but trust me when I say I am more powerful than you, so you better behave."

"Well, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."

"Strange," Nat hisses from behind him. "Shut the fuck up." She pushes Strange aside and gives Charlotte a big hug. Charlotte looks over Nat's shoulder and smiled at Steve.

"Hey Cap!"

"Nice to see you, Dr. Sloan."

"Now that we are all here. Shall we go?" Loki grabs Charlotte's hand and this time she lets him lead her to the ramp of the waiting ship.

"Lets get this shit show on the road." She looks down at Rocket.

"All aboard." He yells and they all walk up the ramp behind him. Once everyone is settled in their seats.

"Okay, who here hasn't been to space?"

"What? Why?" Charlotte replies.

"Can you just answer my question" he retorts. Charlotte, Steve and Nat raise their hands.

"You better not throw up on my ship." He points to them and sits down in the captain's chair.

"Next stop, Knowhere."

"Approaching jump in 3... 2... 1!" Quill says, and the ship jumps forward into a wormhole. On the other side of the wormhole, the ship slows down in front of what looks like a very large severed head.

"Is that a head?" Charlotte stands up from her chair and looks out the front window.

"Apparently it's the head of a Celestial." Rocket replies.

"Freaky." Nat says while the three non space fearing humans stare out of the window in awe.

"Hey! Sit the heck down. We are going to land and the last thing I need is a few injured Terrans." Rocket yells at them when the ship starts to descend into Knowhere. 

The ship enters what looks like the mouth of the giant skull. Rocket lands the ship and turns to the group.

"So you guys ready?" The group nods and Rocket opens the ramp. Once they are off the ship, Quill put on his mask.
