Chapter 2 - "Freaking mind control bulls**t"

Charlotte & Loki's POV

A few second later, the trio arrive in Asgard to be greeted by Heimdall

"My king, My prince, Dr. Sloan. Welcome home."

"Heimdall, where are the twins?" Charlotte asks him with a worried look in her eyes.

"Princess Lexi and Prince Tom are in the library with her majesty."

"Oh, thank god!" Charlotte lets out a breath she did not know she was holding.

"Heimdall, did you see what happen to our friends?" Thor asks

"I did my King."

"Did you see where they were taken?" charlotte ask hopeful.

"Unfortunately not. The Titan and his minions are hidden from my sight."

"Titan? Like in Greek mythology?" Charlotte asks, confused.

"No, unfortunately, much worse." Heimdall replies.

"I will keep looking until I find them. An assault on our King will not go unpunished."

"Thank you, my friend" Thor pats him on the back.

"Loki, let's go see the kids." Loki grabs her hand and they both nod to Heimdall and Thor. He teleports them to the entrance of the library. Before she has a chance to open the doors, Loki wraps his arms around her waist. He leans in to give a very passionate kiss that catches her off guard. She leans into the kiss and moans when Loki pulls away.

"What was that for?" Charlotte whispers her knees weak. Even after five years, her husband still has that magical touch.

"Oh, just did not want you to forget that you own me a date night." He says with a mischievous smile.

"I love you, Loki." She lies her head on his chest when he pulls her into a hug.

"I love you, Charlotte. And we will get our friends back."

"I know." They stay like for a few more seconds, then Loki releases her and he opens the library door. They see the twins sitting on the ground in front of their grandmother. Both are completely mesmerized by what she is saying. She is showing them the a drawing of a large tree in the pages of a very old looking book.

"So this would be your great grandfather Borr Burison and great grandmother Bestla. And here you see..."

"Farfar Odin!" Lexi yells out and Frigga chuckles.

"That is correct, my dear. That is Odin and myself."

"Farmor, why is Dad's name apart from your guys?" Tom asks and that makes Frigga frown.

"Because I was not born in Asgard. I was adopted by Odin and Frigga." Loki says and both kids jump, surprised to see their parents.

"MOM! DAD!" they both yell and run to hug them. Charlotte and Loki bend down and smile with arms wide open.

"Ouff, hey kiddos. You guys having fun with your Farmor?" Charlotte almost falls when Tom wraps himself around her neck.

"Yes! We were learning about our anchestors." Lexi says with her arms around Loki's neck.  

"Ancestors." Tom corrects her.

"Did you two behave?" Charlotte looks over to Frigga.

"Of course they did. Little Angels."

"Yeah, with horns and metal wings." Loki mumbles telepathically to Charlotte and she unsuccessfully tries to hold back a giggle.

"So, why don't you two run to the kitchens to get a snack? I'm sure cook as something tasty for you to try." Charlotte says and lets go of Tom. Loki also puts Lexi down and she grabs her brother's hand.
