Loki's POV
After Charlotte and Loki put the twins to bed, they return to the war room, but not before Pepper and Frigga promise to watch over the children during the upcoming battle. They enter the room to find Thor and Heimdall softly talking in a corner, while the Loki variants sit at the table, all of them watching the glowing map of Asgard. They notice that Strange, Tony and Mobius are missing.
"Thor, where is Tony?" Loki asks, and Thor turns to face him.
"He went to Earth with Strange to get the Avengers."
"And Mobius?"
"He is contacting the Guardians."
"I see." Loki says and rolls his eyes.
"What? We will need all the help we can get."
"I know, sorry. I just...everything depends on us winning this fight." Charlotte walks up behind him and places her hand on his shoulder.
"Loki, we will win this fight. You are stronger than Thanos now. Please don't doubt yourself."
"I will try." He gives her a sad smile.
"Thor, I know you have a plan, but can I suggest something?"
"Anything, little sister from the future."
"We need to kill Agatha first."
"Why?"
"Loki needs his soulmate. We need my younger self to be awake and ready to help Loki."
"I don't understand, you just said he was stronger than Thanos?"
"He is. We need Charlotte to help me heal him after. He can't keep all this energy inside him forever. It's already eating at him." She points to Loki's hands, and they all notice that the blackness had now crept up his arms.
"If that ever reaches his heart. We might not be able to bring him back. And it will take the two of us to heal you." She says.
"Ok, so we kill Agatha." Thor nods at Charlotte.
"So...anyone else hungry?" Young Loki pipes up.
"Yes, younger brother. You must know that I am always hungry!" Thor chuckles.
"Thor, why don't you bring these guys to the dinning room while we wait for the Guardians and Avengers to join us? Charlotte bends down and picks up cat Loki.
"He likes a saucer of milk." She hands him to Thor.
"Alright. Follow me please." Old Loki picks up Alligator Loki and the variants follow Thor out of the war room, leaving Charlotte and Loki alone with Heimdall.
"My prince, a word?" Heimdall looks over to Charlotte. "Alone?"
"And that would be my cue." Charlotte turns to leave.
"No, she can stay, what is it Heimdall?"
"Lady Charlotte's family on earth. They have been reaching out to me for news. I just wanted to let you know."
"Shit, Mere will kill me. We need to go see them." Without warning, Loki grabs Heimdall and Charlotte's hands and transports them to the Bifrost.
"Send us there now, please." Heimdall climbs the stairs up the podium and slides his sword in the mechanism to open the Bifrost. Loki pulls on Charlotte's hand, but she plants her feet.
"No, Loki, wait. I can't go back there. In the future, I will lose all of you, including them. I can't bear to see them again."
"Are you sure?" Loki looks at her concerned.
