Chapter: 17

POV: Annabeth

The moment I stepped out the front door, a cold autumn wind ruffled my hair and a few leaves got caught in it. I picked them out as I waited for Piper to come and pick me up. I don't know how the time had past so quickly, but it already was mid November. It seemed like yesterday that I had walked out the door to complete the first day of school now it was mid semester already. 

As I stood there freezing, I thought of everything that had happened in that short amount of time. Like, us being friends with the popular guys, (I never thought that would happen) Or that Piper actually talked to Jason. (Didn't believe in that either until now) And me actually, maybe having the tiniest crush on this guy. So you remember that Percy dude? Dumb question, this story is literally about him, well not like about him but... You get what I mean. So I maybe have like a few feelings for him? 

Whatever, I wouldn't let that get in my way. I probably don't even like him and its just annoyance, yeah that's it! I don't like him, forget everything I just said.

"Hey Annie get in the car!" I was lost in thoughts and hadn't noticed Piper had just pulled up in the driveway with Hazel and Calypso in the back. "Coming", I helles back, and ran towards my friends. Leaving my thoughts behind me. I couldn't use them right now anyways, I had Maths as my first class  today. Together with a certain black haired and handsome (can't deny it) guy, who's brain is filled with seaweed.

We hadn't completed the project mrs. Dodds had given us on the first day of school yet, even though she said we would have two weeks, she never gave us time in her classes. So now it was do today. 

"Soo wise Girl, what mathematical formular am I?",Percy asked as he slid onto the seat next to me. "Well, I was thinking of a+b-a+5a:7c-5b+9x= b+5a:7c-4b+9x, meaning the variables make it impossible to know the answer since you don't know what they mean. An only one Problem can be solved in this making the Line a bit shorter but not a lot, meaning: if you don't know how to solve the problem you can't or if you don't have the key you don't come far",I told him without looking up. 

"Wow, that's a lot" he seemed astonished. I looked up, he looked cute when he made that face...Annabeth stop it right there! I commanded my self. "What did you do Seaweed brain?" "Still don't know how you came up with the nickname", he muttered under his breath. I had to laugh at that. He looked up suprised. "You can laugh?" I elbowed him in the side. "Ouch, anyways I just used 1-1+2-2+10-10+8-8+6-6+0-0+123-123 = 0, Its a long problem but easy to solve.", he said grinning at me. "So I'm a problem that is easy to solve?", I asked raising an eyebrow. "Well yeah, you see your friends all said that your an Oister but when you crack the shell, your a pearl", he said looking at his fingers fidgeting with a pen. "So now I'm an Oister... Wait, you asked my friends about me?", That was new to me and I wasn't really sure if I should be happy or angry about that. What I did know is that it gave me this weird feeling in my stomach like a few hundred butterflies where let loose in there.

We got an A- on the Project no one ever gets an A or A+ with miss Dodds, so I was actually happy about it. Leo and Calypso both got a B+, witch they took happily. 

"...So then I had English with professor Blofis, did you know he's Percy's step dad? Well we rearranged the seating order and now I'm sitting next to Jason and then I accidentally spilled my water bottle over him, he took it really good but he probably hates me now and...", Piper said all that in about 15seconds, witch meant that she's really stressed out. "Calm down Piper, I don't think Jason hates you and if he does we will find out now, since we're in the same PE class.", I told her and pushed open the door to the changing rooms.

"Get in line Cupcakes", coach hedge yelled into his megaphone. Out of the pure fear of having to run a thousand laps, we all did as we where told. "We're playing dodgeball. Grace, Jackson your choosing.", he bellowed. Percy stepped forward, Thalia and Jason exchanged a glance. "I mean the girl", coach told them. Thalia stepped forward.

"I start, Jason bro come over here", Percy said and Jason walked over to him. "Uhm, I choose Nico", Thalia said after that. "Will", Percy called out and then whispered something to Jason. Nico must have heard it, because he was a tomato. "Annabeth, come here", he called out. "But I'm choosing" Thalia told him, frowning. "And I don't care", So I made my way over to them, something weird was going on here and I had no idea what.
