We just got home from Sophie's school. Today there's an event at their school called Family day. The parents of the students had to go, so Tim took me to Sophie's school.
There are activities done and even games. We even won the games. I also noticed Sophie's silence and she didn't seem to be enjoying herself much earlier.
After we got home, I immediately cooked and prepared a dinner for us. Sophie now is not cheerful and seems to be deep in thought. Tim and I were both confused at what Sophie was showing us.
While we were eating we noticed that Sophie ate slowly.
"Sophie what's wrong?"

"Nothing daddy."
She's showing no emotion to us.
"Didn't you like the food?"
I suddenly asked her.
She looked at me with no expression and then looked back at her plate.
I sighed.
We don't know why she acts like that.
"Sophie I know there's something wrong, please tell us baby."

"I'm tired daddy and I'm just full."
She looked at her father.
"Okay, you can go upstairs if you don't want to eat anymore."
She smiled a little and it feels like she was avoiding her gaze from me? or I was just dreaming?
"Thanks daddy."
After she said that, she left the dining table. Tim and I are the only ones left.
"Leave her alone, maybe she was too tired from the family day event."
"Yes I understand."
I answered and smiled.
"Anyway, I have something to tell you."
He said happily.
"Okay, what is it?"
I asked while taking a bite.
"Do you want to work with me?"
I frowned.
"I work for you."
I said laughing.
"No I mean I want you to work as my secretary Kar."
"Igor is the only one I can always be with in the office."
He explained.
"And I want you always near me."
"I didn't bother hire a secretary again but."
I couldn't answer him
"If you want I can hire you but if not it's okay then."
I just nodded and continued eating because I don't know what to answer.
After we ate, I washed the plates we used. I felt Tim's arms hugging me from behind while I was washing the dishes.
"I'll wait for you upstairs."
He whispered in my ear causing me to turn to him and I was surprised when he gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
He winked at me before he went upstairs. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
After what I did, I first wiped my wet hands with a towel.
After a while I also went upstairs. I was about to go to the bedroom but I remembered something.
I decided to go to Sophie's room.
When I opened the door I saw her still awake while reading a story book but when she noticed my presence she closed it and looked away.
I sighed.
"Hey Sophie are you okay?"
I can't stop asking.
"Why are you here?"
I was surprised by the tone of her voice. She seems to be upset with me. I, on the other hand, confused and don't know the reason.
"Are you mad at me?"
I asked her but she didn't answered.
"Okay, do you want me to read a story for you?"
But she didn't respond to my question and she just ignored me.
Her eyes suddenly became sad.
I joined her on the bed. I'm not used to seeing her sad.
"You can tell me what's wrong."
She bowed her head.
"Okay, I knew it. Did your classmates bullied you again?"
Then finally she looked at me with sad eyes.
"There is a woman who always visit me and always talk to me at my school."
It was so strange that she never called me mommy anymore.
I frowned.
"Then who is she?"
It took her a long time to answer.
"She knows you."
My lips parted.
"She knows my daddy as well."
I blinked and a lil bit curious.
"Tell me who is she?"
I wanted to know who always visit her so that I can tell Tim about that.
"Her name is Alice."
I stopped.
Alice? I don't Know her and how does she know me and Tim? Who's that mysterious woman?
