Chapter thirty five

I woke up with a headache. I'm getting a hangover. I can't get her out of my mind. What Karen said to me last night made me stuck through her words. Well, I couldn't blame her because of the big sin I did to her before.

I stood up and walked to the bathroom and washed my face. I stared at my face and noticed that my mustache was getting longer. So I thought of shaving it and brushed my teeth. I took a shower and then took a towel to cover my lower body, below the waist.

After I got dressed, I arranged my things. Suddenly, my daughter entered my room without even knocking.

"Daddy where is mommy?"

I sighed when she asked about Karen.

"She's at work, now take a shower because I'm going to take you to your school."

I lied.

Sophie nodded and smiled before turning her back at me.

I cooked our breakfast. There are hotdogs and eggs, I also made fried rice. I also made a sandwich for her.

Right after Sophie came down I was done and I put everything on the table.

Sophie was happy on her way to the dining table. She also wore his school uniform.

"I wish I woke up early. I could have reached mom before she left."

She said.

I didn't answer her and just ate.

After we both finished eating, we both entered inside the car.

I put the seatbelt on her before I driveway.

After a while Sophie suddenly asked me a question.

"Is mommy going to live with us daddy?"

I don't know what to answer.

"Your mommy Sophie is busy with work and the place where she works is far away."

I lied again.

Sophie really hopes so.

She was suddenly saddened by what I said.

"I want you to convince mommy to live with us daddy please."

I closed my eyes for a moment and sighed.

I feel like I'm being challenged.

Am I really going to do what Sophie wants? I know that no matter what I do. Even if I force Karen, she really doesn't want to.

Karen hates me and until now he has not forgiven me.

But when I looked at Sophie again, I couldn't bear to see her face that was sad and longing for her mother.

I smiled at that thought.

After I dropped Sophie off at her school, I decided to go to Karen's house.
