Chapter fifty five

Today is Monday and Tim has been ignoring me for almost two days. He didn't talk to me all day yesterday and now I'm bored here in my office.

This morning we ate together but he was quiet. We also send Sophie to her school together.

Is it because of John that he is acting like this? He was just my friend and I was really angry because he blocked John from my accounts and number. I owe a lot to John because he helped me twice when I was still in the states.

I don't want anything from John and I have no feelings for him. We are really just friends and why is he mad at me? Is he really jealous? Oh God help me.

I bit my lip and decided to stood up from my swivel chair.

I left my office to go to my boss office! I know that he's really upset in me and now I'm going to confront him.

I didn't knock and just entered his office.

He was typing on his laptop and didn't even notice my presence. Wow! he's cold.

I cleared my throat before speaking.

"Can we talk for a moment?"

I said.

I saw how he folded his laptop before he looked at me seriously and I suddenly got nervous. Damn! even though he is upset, he is still very handsome.

"Then speak."

I swallowed when I heard the strange tone of his voice.

"Why are you avoiding me? why haven't you talked to me since yesterday?"

I saw him look away and open his laptop again.

"I'm busy."

I was suddenly annoyed by his answer. What is his problem? I'm not used to him treating me like this. I'm used to him always worrying about me but now he's different.

"Is it because of what happened-"

I was cut off when he spoke.

"I have a lot more to do, then let's talk when I'm done."

I don't understand how I feel. I feel like I'm hurting.

"Okay, I'm leaving."

That's all I said and before I left I heard him sigh.

A few hours passed and we got home, we went home together but he still didn't talk to me.

I was like a statue next to him because he couldn't even talk to me.

We also took Sophie to her school and fortunately Sophie didn't realize that her daddy and I were not okay.

When we both entered our room, I tried to talk to him again.

"Tim can we talk now?"

He didn't look at me while he took off his suit and his pants and changed his clothes.

"Look I'm sorry you got mad at me. He's really just my friend and I owe him a lot-"

I was surprised when he hit his wardrobe.

"Fuck. I don't care if he's your friend, just don't talk to him anymore."

I saw the annoyance in Tim's face.

"Why are you angry with him? He didn't do anything bad to me."

I asked him because I didn't understand him.

"Damn Kar! don't you understand me?"

He said so seriously that his voice rose a little so that I swallowed.

"What is your problem? and why did you hate him? he's a nice guy and---"

I gasped as he quickly walked towards me.

"I don't fucking care about him!"

He shouted in front of me and suddenly tears form in my eyes because I didn't expect him to shout at me.

"T-tim.."

I said softly.

He suddenly realized something when he saw my tears and retreated and punch the air while cursing.

He turned to me again when he heard that I was sobbing.

"Damn! oh Kar, I'm sorry I made you cry. I was just carried away by my emotions. My bad!"

I ignored him and looked away.

Suddenly he grabbed my face to turn it to him.

"Look at me carefully Kar, didn't you really feel that I was jealous?"

I was surprised by what he said causing my lips to part.

"I don't want to see another man approaching you."

He wiped my tears with his palm.

"I'm upset with you because you want to contact that asshole."

He hugged me and kissed my head.

"I just want you to know that I love you so much Kar that I would die if someone else took you away from me."

I was stunned by what he said.

"Because you are only belong to me Kar."

I bit my lower lip because of what he said.
