Chapter six

It took more than six hours before I finished what Tim made me do.

Ah shit!

I groaned as I felt a pain in the back of my neck.

I also felt tired in my whole body because I sat all afternoon and focused on the laptop.

After a while I stood up and put my things in my bag.

I looked at the time on my cellphone's screen.

It's already eight o'clock in the evening.

I didn't realize that I had been sitting in my office for so long.

What about Tim? was he at home yet?

After I put all my things in my bag, I hurried out.

I almost screamed in shock.

I thought who was this daring person outside my office.

It was him!

"God Tim! What are doing here? why don't you go home? you scared me."

He come near to me.

"I can't believe that you are a very workaholic person, Shanelle you can finish it tomorrow."

I blinked when he held my hand.

"But worth the wait, because you're the one I'm waiting for."

I don't know if I will be angry with what he said or be thrilled?

"What?"

What he said didn't sink in my brain. Did he really wait for me? But why.

"T-Tim we already talked about this.. I don't want to continue what you're planning."

I had a hard time saying to him while looking away.

"And I also told you that I won't stop, let's go I'll take you home."

I heard his voice as if he didn't like what I said.

This is so wrong.

"Tim--"

"Try to stop me again and I might not be able to stop kissing you either."

I swallowed hard from what he said

I couldn't do anything when he pulled my hand

He even intertwined our hands.

There is no problem with me now because we are the only two people in the building.

We stopped in front of his car.

"I'll take you home."

He said with no expression. Is he sulking at what I said?

"Okay.."

I just nodded maybe later he will suddenly kiss me when I objected. We were both silent while I looked out the window of his car. It just felt awkward for both of us. Hay!

"Shanelle."

He suddenly mentioned my name in the middle of the road. I immediately turned to him who was still focused on the road.

"Sorry if It sounded like I forced you, but I won't really change my mind, I will still date you until you said yes to me."

I should have been happy with what he said but I thought of Karen.

"What about your wife?"

I said sadly.

This situation is difficult.

"I will file a divorce."

My eyes widened at what he said.

"What? No! you won't do that!"

I couldn't stop being so emotional that I was in tears.

"Yes I will, I don't love her and I want to marry you."

Oh god!

I was about to answer when he suddenly stopped the car. I didn't realize that we were right across the street from my apartment.

"We are here."

He said smiling He got off and opened the door for me.

"Thanks for the ride."

I stiffened when he suddenly hugged me tightly.

"I can't wait that I can sleep with you Shanelle."

I blushed because of what he said. With so many thoughts on his mind, why is that?

"I can't breathe."

And yes, I could barely breathe from the tightness of his hug.

I heard him laugh softly.

"I'm sorry, I just miss you even though we were just together now."

Is that so? Why is he so nice to me? Maybe he can see the blush on my face!

"Okay, it's late. Be careful when you go home."

He smiled when I said that a smile that no one else ever sees! Goodness! I can only say that he's so handsome! I was nervous as he gradually brought his face closer to mine.

Shanelle do something! Stop him!

But my body seemed to stiffen just a few feet away from our faces.

I closed my eyes for just one inch. I counted ten seconds and nothing landed on my lips.

My eyes widened and I felt so ashamed when I saw him staring at me while his white teeth were showing because of his smile.

"You're cute."

I blushed even more at what he said. I was just surprised when he suddenly kissed me on the cheek. I don't know if I should be annoyed or grateful? Oh my God Shanelle you must be going crazy!

"Goodnight, lock all the windows and doors when you go inside."

He said with a smile.

"Goodnight."

I said sparingly.

"See you tomorrow babe."

He winked at me before he got into his car.

I was stunned while looking at his car driving away. Wait.. Did he just call me babe?!

Oh my god I think I'm already dead now! And just like he said, I locked the door all the way because later on, I might be entered by a daring person.

After I eat, I take a half bath before I lie down on my bed. Our day is tiring and Crazy! I really think I can sleep well now! But I stopped smiling again when I remembered Karen.

"Hey Shanelle, go to sleep!"

I scolded myself. And I didn't realize that I fell asleep thinking about Tim.
