Sophie doesn't have school today because it's a holiday, so I woke up early. Today is the day that Karen will return to this house so I thought I would cook something for us to eat and at least it's already prepared later.
While I was making a pasta, Sophie suddenly appeared behind me.
"Daddy what are you doing? what is that?"

I said to her.
I remembered that Karen loves pasta so this is what I thought of making a pasta for us to eat later.
"Sure daddy!"
Sophie answered happily so I immediately let her taste it.
"Wow! The pasta you made is even tastier daddy!"
Can't stop smiling
"Did you like it?"
She nodded.
"Yes daddy! I want to eat more!"
It looks like she hangs on the pasta
"No, that's for later."
Suddenly she frowned.
"Huh? but I'm hungry daddy!"
She complained
"Your mommy will come later."
I said smiling.
Sophie's eyes suddenly shined.
"Really daddy? Mommy is going home here?"
She couldn't believe it.
"Yes, can you behave okay?"
She was gasping for joy.
"Yehey! So I should take a shower first so I smell good when I hug mommy!"
She said happily
"Alright then."
Sophie hurriedly ran upstairs to her room. An obviously excited child.
I suddenly laughed.
When I finished what I did, I took off my apron and entered my room. I don't even know what pushed me to take a cold shower. Why do I feel like I'm excited about Karen coming back here? It's funny to think. Well maybe because I want to see my daughter's joy face when she sees Karen.
