Chapter fourty eight

Tears fell from Sophie's eyes as she waited for an answer from me. I stiffened next to her and kept my mouth shut.

I don't know what should I tell to her. I want her daddy to explain everything to her. My heart suddenly sank when I saw the sadness in her eyes.

I tried to wipe her cheeks with my hand but she quickly wiped away her tears.

"Sophie I-I'm sorry."

She shook her head and looked at me with questioning eyes.

"Why did you fool me?"

Her voice broke and I started to cry too.

"I'm happy that you came back and stayed with daddy because I thought you were my mom, but everything is just a lie!"

She looked away and crossed her arms.

"Sophie, your daddy will explain it to you. I love you Sophie."

She ignored me and stared at the wall while crying.

"You lied to me! You made me Stupid."

I gasped for air, I know that she's upset and feel bad about that.

"No baby please, listen I don't want to start. I want your dad tell you about everything, the truth and why this happened."

She turned at me mad.

"Leave me alone please, I don't want to talk to you. I hate you!"

I shut my mouth and nodded. I need to understand her feelings.

When I entered the bedroom, Tim immediately approached me then hugged me.

"What took you so long?"

He smelled my hair.

"I talked to Sophie."

Tim spank my butt but I didn't mind it because I was busy thinking about Sophie--

Tim suddenly pulled my face close to his and gave me a sweet kiss and I didn't respond.

He stopped and frowned.

"Hey, are you alright?"

I shook my head and sob.

"She already knows that I am not her mother."

Tim's eyes were shocked at what he found out.

"What? how did that happen?"

I wiped my tears and sat on the bed.

"I don't know but, Sophie said there is a woman who always visits her at school and she knows us."

Tim's forehead frowned.

"A woman? who's she."

He asked.

"Yes, Sophie said that her name is Alice, and I don't know her."

Tim was suddenly stunned by what I said.

It seems like he realized something for a moment.

"Oh I remember her, she's Shanelle friend."

I was right in my mind that this might be one of Sophie's relatives or her mommy's friend.

"Okay, so what are you going to do, are you going to tell her the truth?"

Tim took a deep breath.

"Maybe tomorrow, I think this is the right time and one more thing I have no choice. I'll just deal with Sophie's anger towards us."

Tim sat next to me.

"But what if Sophie don't want to see me anymore?"

He held my hand.

"Let her sulk or be angry. It won't take long and she will learn to accept everything."

But I couldn't stop crying, we hurt Sophie's feelings and we fooled her.

"Hush my love, don't worry everything will be okay."

He tried to comfort me.

"I'm sorry I just feel too much. I'm hurting Tim because she hate me."

Tim hugged me and rubbed my back.

"Sssh we will talk to her tomorrow, right now we need to rest."

I nodded and let go of his arm.

Tim kissed my forehead before wiping the remaining tears from my cheeks.

"I love you Karen, promise me that no matter what happens, you won't leave."

I smiled.

"I promise Tim."

Tim kissed me on the lips and I immediately responded. His kiss went to neck and down to my chest and I moaned as he licked and sucked my nipple.

I feel like I'm going to lose my breath.

His hand also went down inside my underwear and to my core. When Tim finally met his target, I gasped when he rubbed it slowly.

Tim looked at me and smirks.
