Chapter thirty two

Today is the big day!

Staring at himself in the mirror, Tim smiled and fixed his wet hair. He hired someone to fix his daughter as well.

He was wearing a black suit and black pants. Tim is now thirty-four years old but it cannot be denied that he still looks young and handsome.

The event will start any minute now and so he walks straight to his daughter's room.

Tim was amazed by his daughter looks!

His daughter is really big and looks like a lady in his eyes even though Sophie is only seven years old.

"I'm done with myself daddy, let's go downstairs!"

Sophie sounds so excited.

I smiled at the thought but it disappears when I remember what I have told her.

"I want to see mommy!"

I stunned suddenly.

"Sophie I--"

She cut me off and grab my hand.

"Come on daddy! mommy is waiting for us!"

I felt the fear of disappointing Sophie that she just assumed. I'm sorry my daughter, daddy only I lied to you.

"Where's mommy?"

Sophie looked around the house as soon as we got down.

There are also many guests inside the house.

Suddenly my mother came to us. I kissed her cheeks.

"Aw look at Sophie, she's so beautiful like her mom."

My mom compliments.

Sophie turned to her grandmother.

"Hello grandma have you seen my mom?"

Sophie asked happily.

and my mom's smiles suddenly disappeared.

"Tim I think we need to talk."

My mom looked at me.

"Sophie go to your grandpa I will talk to grandma, okay?"

Sophie nodded and ran to her grandfather.

When Sophie leave, my mom's face was worrying.

"I think you should tell Sophie about her mom."

I shook my head.

"No, she will be hurt mom."

She suddenly hold my hand.

"Sophie has been looking for her mother. Don't you feel pity for her? She deserves to know the truth."

I sighed.
