Today's my mom birthday, we're planning to celebrate at the Resort owned by my parents.

Karen and I already have our things ready to go there.

We will stay there for a few days for free, since I also have a share there.

Well, only Karen and I who will be staying there for a while, because mom and dad will be home soon, besides, they are always busy and have an important trip.

I also want to make it up to her, in the bad times.

They must be there and waiting for me and Karen.

"So I guess our things are okay."

She said.

"Okay let's go then."

Karen doesn't seem to want to ride my car.

I opened the door for her.

Little by little, my heart got closer to her.

She is not difficult to love apart from the fact that she is a kind and caring wife to me.

While I was driving, she suddenly spoke.

"Tim I wanna be honest with you."

I frowned.

"What is it?"

I asked.

"I just noticed that you are not treating me as your wife but you see me like your sister."

She said sadly.

"What the hell Karen? do we have to argue about that? you know that I'm trying to be a good husband."

I can't stop thinking.

Am I really that useless for her not to appreciate what I did?

"Stop pretending Tim! I can't take it anymore, I tried to ignore the way you treated me!"

I stopped the car on the side of the road.

"Karen I don't understand you."

What is her problem?

"Because you treat me differently compared to Shanelle! You're sweeter than her! You don't even hold my hand and you can't kiss me."

I was blown away by what she said.

"Can you please not mention her name."

I said calmly.

I'm just annoyed.

"Why Tim? It's because you still can't move on from her, so you can't do to me what married couples does."

I can't answer what she said.

"Since we got married Tim! it's been a long time, but nothing happened to us yet. I see myself as a useless wife."

I tried to hold her hand but she took it away.

"Karen I'm sorry--"

She cut me off I would say

"We are back together! but nothing has changed! It's just painful Tim. It hurts more than when you cheated on me."

This time she cried.

She suddenly came out of my car.

I followed her.

"Karen what the hell, stop!"
