Chapter seven

I'm happy to wake up the next day maybe because of what happened last night.

After I arrived at the building of Dynaire Company Inc. I stopped for a moment, I didn't expect Karen to visit here.

She was with Tim while still holding his arm and when Karen noticed me, her smiles immediately disappeared.

"Oh you're here.."

She said indifferently while not letting go of Tim

"Good morning Karen and Tim."

I greeted them.

"Goodmorning Shanelle."

Tim greeted me back.

I was wondering about Karen's expression as if she was not happy to see me.

"Oh come on babe, let's eat the breakfast I brought."

She suddenly turned to Tim..

"Shouldn't we invite Shanelle?"

The smiles on Karen's lips disappeared again which I wondered about.

"I'm sure she has already finished breakfast, right friend?"

She said indifferently.

Maybe Karen is in a bad mood that's why she treats me like that?

"Thank you sir Tim but I'm done eating."

I answered with a smile even though the situation was a bit awkward

"Are you sure?"

Tim assured me.

"What babe? Don't you heard that? Let's not force her."

There was a bit of annoyance in her voice..

"Oh I gotta go to my office."

I hurried to walk

And when I entered my own office, I let out a deep breath.

I held my heart only now that I realized it was tightening.

I feel faint when I see them together.

I don't understand Karen either, I feel something strange about the way she treated me earlier

All day I focused on my work.

I just had lunch inside the office since I brought a lunch box.

And I haven't talked to Tim now either, maybe he's still with Karen.

When it was noon, I just finished what I was doing.

I took a break and decided to go out to buy a snack because I was hungry again.

When I opened the door, I saw the two opposite Tim's door.

The two kissed and for some unknown reason, my tears suddenly began to flow.
