Chapter fifty four

It was already late at night and Sophie fell asleep early after we ate dinner. I think she got tired from swimming earlier. I'm still waiting for Karen to finish washing our dishes because we're going up to our room together.

It was eight o'clock in the evening and Karen was about to finish what she was doing when suddenly someone rang the doorbell.

I wondered and frowned. Who would be visiting at this time? can't they be mom and dad? or maybe Karen's parents?

I shook my head and stood up to see who it was.

When I opened the door I was stunned.

"Hey uhm bro? I'm Rena's suitor, is she here?"

He is Kar's American lover.

My jaw clenched in annoyance! what is he doing here? I have blocked him on all of Karen's social media accounts and his number. Yes, I deleted his account. I'm annoyed because her American lover has plans to take Kar away from me.

I didn't answer him.

"Oh, are you Rena's big brother?"

I was even more annoyed by what he said. I smirked and was about to answer when Kar suddenly appeared behind me.

"John? what are you doing here?"

I didn't noticed that she followed me.

I saw how this asshole's smile widened in front of me as he looked at Kar.

"I was looking for you, I haven't been able to contact you since we got drunk that night."

I suddenly got angry when I remembered that he got Kar drunk. That same night, I deleted this asshole's number from Kar's cellphone as well as his social media accounts.

"Okay, but you haven't called or texted me since then."

Karen said in confused.

"Because I can no longer contact you on my number, I thought you might have blocked me."

Asshole said in sad tone.

"What? how?"

Kar asked confused and the asshole just shrugged.

"Okay, wait a minute."

Kar said and checking something on her cellphone.

Kar frowned and looked at me.

"Do you know anything about this Tim, tell me?"

I didn't answer Kar and just looked straight at the guy.

"I'm not her big brother, I'm Kar's boyfriend and I'll be her future husband."

I said to the asshole who was stunned by what I said.

Kar was silent next to me. She also seemed surprised by what I said.

"Oh woah, I-I'm sorry? wait, I thought this was your grandparents' house, Rena?"

Kar could not answer next to me.

"So you lied, you already have a boyfriend Rena, I was counting on you, I'm leaving now."

He said sadly and turned away.

I closed the door and faced Karen who now seems to be angry with me.

"Why did you do that?"

She said in an annoyed voice.

"What? Do you like that asshole?"

Karen washed her face.

"I mean, why did you blocked him from my social accounts and my number?"

I smirked and was annoyed by her question.

"Why? because he has a plan to steal you away from me and why do you seem annoyed with me now? do you like that asshole?"

She rolled her eyes.

"No, but he's nice to me. He's my friend!"

I laughed at what she said.

"Friend? but he's flirting with you! So I blocked his number and to your accounts."

She suddenly became quiet next to me.

"Remember Kar, you are mine and no other man can steal you away from me."

After I said that, I left her and went upstairs.

I'm really disgusted with that asshole and plus Karen seems to be disgusted with what I did.

Doesn't she feel that I'm fucking jealous?

I told her that I don't want to compete with another man and I want her to be mine alone. Isn't what I said clear to her yet?

Or maybe she hasn't completely forgiven me for what I did before. Damn! she's annoying! she is very unfair.

She really makes me angry but I can't do anything. The damaged I did to her was really big then and I can't really blame her because I don't have the right to force her either. Fuck.

I'll just go to sleep. I'm upset with Kar because she doesn't seem to love me. Damn!

I immediately lay down on the bed when I entered the room with a bad mood and I will go to sleep really upset.
