"Huh?" Hiroshi tilted his head as my arm was abruptly grabbed, and my body was lifted from the ground with a swift ease. Jotaro drug me toward the school doors with a dramatic stomp to his step. Hiroshi watched, his mouth opened only slightly in its puzzled looseness. I waved at him with a kind smile, knowing he would come to his senses and realize we had a fight to finish.
We fought often, and I knew that he knew the fight had already determined its winner when the challenge was made. Hiroshi could not defeat me.
As for the man dragging me away, his huffs quite exaggerated like the child he was... something about the way he just held me in his right arm, my body dangling over him like a dish towel, was so fucking hot. His scent was surrounding me in its frustration and childish anger, and I loved that, with each step he took while holding me against him, it was growing, ever so slowly, back to its pleasant state once again.
"Are you gonna punish me?" I teased, tilting my butt playfully against his arm as he trudged silently through the crowded hall. "My booty is really sensitive. Could you go easy on me? Especially since I've only ever done that-"
His eyes shot toward me, my mouth shutting itself convincingly guiltily. He was too easy.
"You've done something like that before?" he asked, his voice calm but his veins bulging throughout his flaming body. "With who?"
"What's it to you?" I asked playfully, leaning my hands against my cheeks as though I were sitting at my desk. "You're gonna leave me anyway."
As we entered a vacant classroom, somewhere unknown to me, he slammed the door shut and abruptly dropped his arm. My body fell, quite unprepared, to the ground. It was quite the drop, though it didn't hurt as much as it might seem. I grumbled, lazily climbing to my feet as he stared at me in a childish silence.
"With who?" he repeated calmly, digging his hands casually into his pockets as I pressed my lips together.
"Hiroshi," I lied, looking away in embarrassment as his eyes widened in absolute fury. I glanced his way, smiling uncontrollably all so suddenly. "How come you let your guard down so much around me?" I asked curiously. "You don't even try to act indifferent."
"What are you-"
Stretching to the very tips of my toes, I gently leaned my hands against his chest and let my lips peck his own. His brows were arched so high; his eyes expanded in a pleasant surprise.
"You're blushing," I mentioned, letting my finger gently tap his cheek just as I had with Hiroshi in the courtyard. I saw his features scrunch ever so slightly at the simple realization of that fact. "Seriously," I giggled, "you're too easy."
His harsh features melted like honey into that of a gentle gaze. A strand of his fluffy black hair slipped in front of his quiet eye, yet his fingers softly pushed away the hair from my own face. I leaned into the pleasant contact, instinctively closing my eyes with a small curve to my resting lips.
His fingers slid so carefully toward my chin, lifting my head to face his own. As my eyes opened once again, his lips had already pressed against mine in the gentlest caress. The softness of him kneaded so calmly against me, his hand leisurely finding my neck with its smooth, light touch. He tapped at my nape, the mark twitching with the beat of my racing yet pleasantly calm heart.
As his lips left mine, I closed them tightly in an aroused embarrassment. "S-See what I mean? I don't... I don't think-"
"You're right," he interrupted quietly, his hand sliding over my shoulder in a path of warmth against my skin. "Probably."
As the tips of his fingers slowly left my touch, he walked out of the classroom.
- The day of the assessment-
"You're gonna keep this up?" I asked in annoyance, forcing my face into the stubborn Alpha's view as we trudged behind some man we'd been instructed to follow. "Now isn't the time to be playing your fucking games, Kujo," I spat, huffing dramatically as his unfazed lips remained calmly shut.
We had probably been walking for merely five minutes when I couldn't handle the frustration his silence was giving me. He was acting like a child, and for what? What the hell did I do? He was going to sabotage the assessment, whether it was intentional or not.
Worst of all, my Omega was whining and crying from the lack of attention. She yearned for him, while I was simply annoyed at the asshole.
"Whatever," I mumbled, shoving my hands into my pockets as we continued to stomp our way to the most important hour of our lives, my life mate giving me the silent treatment.
The man stopped quite abruptly, turning toward us with the blankest expression; it looked like Jotaro had some competition. The man was groomed and polished to perfection, I must add. He seemed to be someone so important, and yet he was escorting us to our certain death.
"Miss," the man interrupted harshly, my heart twitching at the suddenness of it. "Enter the building and follow the arrows to your destination."
I glanced toward the ridiculously huge white box of a building standing quite far from my tiny little legs. I sighed in annoyance as I saw much longer legs already halfway to the destination.
My bow was half-assed, but I had practically forgotten about the man when my eyes had settled on Jotaro, so far away from where I stood. My arms remained in their stationary place in time, my body dragging them uselessly behind me for only a moment as I suddenly began to sprint.
"Jotaro!" I called out desperately, gritting my teeth as I galloped toward the frustrating creature. "Seriously!" I huffed, slapping his back with a playful scowl as I approached the building, now walking beside him. "What did I do? You're acting like a child."
"Let's just get this over with," he grumbled, reaching forward with an exhausted sigh.
"Are you an old man n-" My body slammed into a wall, my head falling backward in a sudden shock. I stumbled backward, glaring at the structure that caused such an aching pain in my nose, the bridge of it throbbing pathetically. "We're here," I growled quietly, wiping away the tiny stream of blood that had begun to drip from my weak nose. "Get your shit together."
