"So we've already begun?" I mumbled, staring blankly at the two signs that hung before us. "Pink or blue?" I quietly whispered, my lips hardly moving with the words of tiny confusion. "Girl and boy? Do I go this way and you go that way?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest as I pointed in each direction.

He glanced my way, then back at the signs. "Yeah."

"But isn't this supposed to be about our second gender?" I mumbled, taking a sharp inhale as I began to speak again, my mind lost in its overwhelming thoughts. However, as I turned to Jotaro, he was already gone. "Asshole," I spat quite silently, puffing my lips out in annoyance.

I looked down the hallway to my left, the pink arrow pointing toward pure white and nothing else. I couldn't define any depth of the room. Creepy.

I'm not exactly sure what went through the stupidly arrogant mind of mine, but my feet moved to my right. The hallway was the same. Perhaps the result would be the same as well, regardless of which hallway I walked down. I followed the blue arrow.

Of course, I didn't warn Jotaro. Though he probably knew. The hallway was silent; even my footsteps seemed to be drowned within the deafening thickness of the hallway. My shadow was the only evidence of any sort of existence within the nothingness of the white. And I missed Jotaro's presence more than ever in that lonely moment.

     Creepy.

Finally, a corner appeared. Thankfully, it was noticeable when it approached me. My eyes turned before my body had even begun to.

I wished that hadn't been the case.

Jotaro, nearly completely naked, stood only a few feet from me. I knew he was close, but... where were his clothes? He wore only his tight briefs, the pervert.

I tilted my head, seemingly unbothered by the sight. I frowned in an apparent disgust. "Who're you trying to impress?" I asked teasingly, laughing at the sight of his vulnerable state. Though, quite honestly, he was frighteningly more menacing without baggy scraps of cloth covering the gorgeous perfection of his body. It was physically challenging not to drool at the sight.

"We agreed to go separate ways," he stated, completely unfazed by my words. "Change into that." He pointed to his right toward a white table. It blended in so perfectly with the walls and floor and ceiling. If not for the shadow, it wouldn't have been seen. Atop the table was a folded black article. I eyed it suspiciously. Was it similar to Jotaro's lewd attire?

I tapped my toes over, though reluctantly, watching the watchful Jotaro as I crossed the room. I grazed the cloth with the pads of my fingers, the material smooth and thick. It was waterproof. I held the cloth between my thumb and index finger, lifting it from the surface for my eyes to see. It wasn't similar to his attire. It was identical. However, a second scrap of fabric fell to the table. Quite relievingly, it was a top to the outfit.

"Turn around," I grumbled, slowly slipping down my pants in annoyance.

"Welcome," a woman's voice suddenly echoed around us. I flinched at the sudden volume of it as I slipped my arm through the final strap of the revealing top I had been instructed to wear. Of course, it was probably a swimsuit, and I was an Alpha with another Alpha, so nothing was wrong with the situation. But... of course, everything was wrong with the situation.

"This assessment has been altered due to high numbers of females identifying with this assessment's assigned gender participant," the voice spoke, its tone so calm and robotic. Perhaps it wasn't a real woman's voice. I glanced at Jotaro, who stood by two white doors a few feet away. Again, the doors were nearly invisible, but I didn't pay it any mind this time around. "The law states that, regardless of one's primary sex, every identifying individual in a secondary gender class will complete the same SGSA. This change will not affect any individuals in any way once the assessment has been completed, for the modified assessment has been prepared along the same guidelines. Once each participant has changed into the assessment's required attire, we will begin."

"Ah..." I mumbled, a small smile creeping its way onto my tiny lips. "It's because of me, isn't it?" I pointed at my pounding heart, the race simply caused by the excitement of that fact. I was the only female Alpha to reach this point. This high. "It feels nice," I whispered, lowering my head as my lips curved even further without my consent.

"You'll have a good life from today on," he suddenly commented, his entire body facing the invisible doors as though he wasn't talking to me at all. I looked up in a pleasant surprise, quite shocked by his words. "You won't have to work so hard."

I let out a small huff of a laugh, touching my cold hand to my burning cheek, quite flustered by the obvious meaning in his coded words. "Stop it," I mumbled, unsure of what to do or how to react. "It's gross."

"Thank you for waiting," the voice suddenly spoke, pausing for a short yet awkward moment. "We will now begin. Please enter."

I tiptoe-ran hurriedly toward Jotaro as he reached unhesitantly toward the knob. This was really it. I think. I think this is where it actually began.
