"Jotaro," I whimpered in such a tiny, weak voice, "where are we?"
Everything was so surreal. The ceiling was a yellow-clouded marshmellow, burnt and torn all over. It twisted. It moved with my dazed gaze as my head tilted back against a soft, fluffy surface. I could feel his hand, and it was cool. It brushed against my cheek in such a gentle, comforting motion.
"We have to leave." His voice was low. My eyes half closed, and they wished to remain that way, but I pried them open.
He was so pretty. I wanted to hold his sharp chin toward me and have his lids under my soft lips. I wanted my fingers in the fluff of his hair.
And I wanted him to fuck me.
"Jotaro," I whined, my hand crawling for contact. I caught his thumb in my gasp and let his skin press, only for an instant, against my lips. "Please help me." I was choking; I needed air. "Hm?" I tilted my head, bringing his fingers to my lips. "Just a little bit?"
"Shh..." he mumbled, his eyes wandering around the room toward anything but my glazed eyes. "Shut the fuck up."
I sighed in such a great dissapointment. He wasn't taking this seriously. In this state, burning in a hell of desire, I couldn't do anything for myself. All I could do was crawl across the cold floor and hope it might cool my boiling blood.
"They don't know."
"What?" I mumble in disbelief. "Are you serious? They fucking know."
"No. They don't know." He turned to me with a blank, cold expression. I hadn't seen that in a while... "No fucking way that was the test."
It seemed to click right away, even as my trembling hands gripped his thumb desperately. This... was the test.
"So they're watching us."
I don't look around. I don't say anything more. In that silence, I realized I'd have to endure that hell until the end.
And I remembered Sensei's fucked-up speech, and it all made sense.
Suddenly, there was a pounding on the door. We froze as we stared with such wide eyes as the visible waves of an echo reached our ears. I had to constantly squish the butterflies fluttering so violently within me just to stand properly. And I smiled a little as the banging continued. A physical test. Hospital out of ten. Whatever. I'd fucking kill every one of them.
Before Jotaro could move, I opened the door. Immediately, I swung my leg into the man's crotch. He fell to the floor pathetically, groaning violently as he rolled over in agony. Jotaro chuckled behind me, taking a look at the peasant crawling on the floor.
"Old man," he laughed, "what are you doing here?"
"You know this guy?" I asked curiously, tapping my foot against his arm.
He placed his hand on my arm gently, probably trying to tell me to let the guy get up, but he couldn't stop laughing.
"Damn, Jotaro," I mumbled.
He helped the old man stand and come inside. There was something so familiar about the guy... but I couldn't put my finger on it.
"Don't you know we're being tested right now?" Jotaro complained, sitting on the couch with a huff. "Not sure we're allowed to talk to people."
"You can do whatever you want," the old man assures. He glanced my way with bright red cheeks. "Anyway, who's this?"
"I'll step outside," I grumble as I realize their relation probably a lot slower than I should have. Father? Grandfather? One of the two. Either way, I needed a lot of fresh air to calm down my body.
We were in a shed under a local bridge... not far from our neighbors who'd recognize us instantly. I heard rustling in some bushes along the tiny river close up ahead.
"Jotaro?" I call out.
I glance at the bushes skeptically and approach them without waiting for his response. This test wasn't only about our teamwork.
I knew there was someone there, but when I saw the tip of their hair, I could smell them clearly. And I could hear the clicking sound of a hidden gun moving toward the top of the bush. I dove just as the BANG echoed under the bridge. I tackled the man, our bodies rolling over and over until we were winded by the surface of the water.
The river wasn't as little as I thought it was, my body sinking much farther than I'd thought possible. I opened my eyes and saw a light blue haziness. I sensed something off about that guy. The water wouldn't get rid of him. Maybe he went after Jotaro... or maybe he was still in the water with me...
I turned around and around but saw nothing within the blur. Until I felt a sharp tip pinch at my side. I thrust my body away from the blade before it could penetrate completely. I shed a drop of blood, but it disappeared immediately within the foggy blue.
I whipped my head around and caught the man's wrist. He kicked my stomach, but I grabbed his foot and pinned him to the floor of the river. I grabbed his knife and kicked off of his side to reach the surface. My lungs were depserate for anything related to air at that point.
As soon as I grasped that tiny bit of oxygen, my foot was grabbed, and I was pulled under. The knife stayed gripped in my hand, and I held it back from the man as fended myself.
I was fine. This fucker was weak. Until a second man broke through the surface of the water. I couldn't smell him, but I could hear his movement clearly. He was big. He was stronger.
My movements were too weak underwater to fight two people. And they played dirty. Fucking losers. I hurry to the surface against and waste no time in rushing to the edge. But I was dragged under again, a much, much bigger hand gripping my ankle. I stomped on his face, but he didn't flinch.
I ground my teeth in frustration. I didn't want to use the knife, but he might've sliced a vital point if I didn't do something!
I grabbed his hair after little thought. I gripped it like a fucking bitch and pulled at it with the force of one. He looked fazed this time around. My punches and kicks were weak, but nothing could dull that grip of mine.
I stomped my feet down on his shoulders, took the knife, and pulled harder and harder. Within a second, his hair was snipped off, and I was at the surface, climbing onto the grass.
I gasped for air with each desperate crawl to the shed. I threw the knife inside first and locked the door as I followed behind it.
"Did you hear me?" I choked, taking heavy breaths as I peaked out the broken window to my right. "I called for you."
"Why are you all wet?" Jotaro asked, glancing my way, seeming very uninterested. His gaze lowered to my fist, which still clutched that big guy's poor hair that I'd cut off. "What the fuck is that?"
I looked down and my confused expression flipped into that of disgust as I saw the greasy, soggy, black, ugly fucking squid tentacles touching my skin.
