Chapter 6: Learning The Basics

  During the night, I was setting up my new PS5 to my small TV, doing initial setup on it, and creating a profile on it. I was really excited about trying out modern warfare 2 since it was the best first person shooter so far and unfortunately I noticed that PlayStation plus is required for online play and besides the download will take a while. I kept getting distracted by the pain on my back where my new tattoo is and it's driving me insane.

   I put the gaming controller down and took my shirt off for a moment and noticed that my skin is trying to adjust to it and it hurting where the  needle stabbing is. Vortex did instruct me of what to do while my tattoo is healing. I applied some ointment that he lended to me and it did help the pain to go away. Like I have to keep a shirt on to keep from Natalya and Dasha from knowing.

Just then, I heard a knock and it was Dasha.

"Yo! Stan! Where have you been? You been gone all day."She asked.

"Just doing something worthwhile in the city." I answered.

"Where did you get that? That is an expensive gaming Console." She asked.

"I earned it and been saving." I answered.

"Fine whatever." She says as she closed the door while I sighed and check on the downloads on it.

   The next day, I headed to a bank to set up a checking account so I can be able to subscribe to PlayStation plus and trying to get all my cash that I earned earlier into an account so Dasha won't snoop around since I have an omen feeling that she wants to find out what I have been doing. Sisters always snoop big on their brother's business which is true and annoying.

I waited in line as I get a text from Velvela.

"Hey Stan, how are you doing today?" She texted.

"Doing good, just thinking of opening a checking account at Liberty Bank today." I texted back

"Nice, are you available today?" She texted.

"Yeah, just trying to stay away from home, my sister bugs me." I texted.

"I feel you. Angel Dust has a mission for us today and it's a real important one."

"Like what this time?" I texted while annoyed.

"There could be a brink of a drug war, since Wolf and his friends wanted to see if they could have some payback on us for taking some of territory of Broker. Please come right away after you are finished with your errand. Love you." Velvela says as she texted with a few heart emojis.

"Love you too." I texted before putting my phone away.

Later, Velvela puts her phone away while Vortex was doing a signature tattoo on her back.

"Ow! Easy." She says as she tried to stay still.

"Sorry. Just need to get this spot here. By the way, I have no doubt you like that human." Vortex says as he moves the ink slinger down a bit.

"I do. Every since I saw him, he's very cute and he's not like any other guy I talked to. He stood up against Wolf for me.

"A small human did that?" Vortex asked as he started drying the tattoo on her back.

"Yeah, that's why I think he could end this gang war on this island while everyone has to deal staying here while the bridges are closed to the rest of the city." Velvela explains.

"I feel you, I have a personal friend that lives in the Algonquin. Didn't hang with her for almost a month now because of the bridge Closures." Vortex says.
