Chapter 29: Hit The Run

A few weeks passed as Loona was splurging our cash on furniture just to make our new home living. She was on amazon constantly as she looks for anything that fits her taste and orders it. Our new sofa finally arrived and it was a huge leather couch that is equipped with leg rest and an ottoman and a recliner that came with it. I made sure she won't overspend on our cash, even though we have a lot in our bank account that we share. I just didn't want her to spend it all by accident that we couldn't pay our rent and bills for the month.

   I heard the doorbell rang again and Loona ran to the door with excitement as she pulled in our new couch inside. As for me, I was in my man-cave, putting together my new pool table since it finally arrived this morning and really wanted to try it out with Loona when I challenge her with a game of 8-ball later.

"Stan! Can you help me get our new living room furniture in?" Loona asked from a distance.

  "Coming sweetheart!" I spoke as I hurried to the front as I helped her carry the couch in first to the living room.

"A little over here." She says as guides where she wanted it.

"Ok." I said as I put the couch down where she wanted it.

"What do you think? It looks nice doesn't it?" Loona asked as she sat down on it with a smirk.

"Leather is a good material." I complimented as I sat down.

"Um... how much was it?" I asked.

"The couch, the ottoman, and the recliner is about $7000." Loona answers.

"That much?!"

"Don't worry about it. We have plenty of cash since the deal with the spades. No need to be frugal, you nerd." Loona says as she ruffles my hair a little.

"Just don't overspend. We still have bills to pay." I said as I went to get the ottoman and the recliner inside.

"Whatever you say." Loona says as she got back on her ipad and went through her wishlist on Amazon.

"You like the recliner right here?" I asked while moving it in the living room.

"Yeah, it's fine." Loona says as she wasn't paying attention.

  I sighed as I went to get the ottoman and placed it close to the couch, and Loona immediately put her feet on it. I headed back to my man cave as I continued putting together my pool table. I was in deep thought about some things like I thought about Dasha and where she was right now, but one day I'll see my sister again.

I heard my phone ringing and I noticed it was Fox.

"Hello?"

  "Sup bro. You want to hang with us at the pub tonight? We haven't heard from you in a week." Fox spoke.

  "Sorry. I'm busy helping Loona get our new furniture together, and my new pool table." I explained while finishing up the table.

"Pool table?! Can we try it out?" Fox asked.

"Well, let me ask Loona." I said as I was about to leave.

"What for? You don't need to ask her for permission." Fox says.

  "Well, we both live together, and besides she thinks you two are the most annoying people in the world." I explained.

"How are we annoying?" He asked.

"You remember that you got us into a hell of a position when we had to save your two asses from getting killed by the spades because of your debt? And one time when you came over, you drank Loona's favorite vodka without asking? And Falco caused a bar fight when he was drunk?" I explained.
