As the sun started to rise for another great day in Liberty City. I was in a deep sleep as I felt Loona's warm fur on my back. My alarm clock went off until I slammed the button on top to shut it off. I took a long yawn and looked at the clock which is 9:30 in the morning. I pulled the covers over my head since I didn't really care about getting up right now.
Loona woke up and grabbed her cigarettes and took a smoke in my bed as she tried to wake up.
"Hey, Stanley. Time to get up." She said as she gently nudged me a little.
"Loona, there's nothing to worry about. It's Saturday and I'm off today." I said as I put the pillow over my head.
"Fine sleepy head. I'll go make some coffee and some breakfast." She says as she puts her robe on and heads to my kitchen to start making some coffee and whatever I had to make some breakfast.
"He needs to load up on groceries instead of eating out. He needs a lady in the house alright." She jokes as she takes some eggs out and starts the burner and starts cooking.
I finally got up after a few minutes and took a hot shower to help me wake up. I was in deep thought of how things are right now. It could be today that the weed operation is ready at the warehouse. After I showered and cleaned myself up and got dressed, I walked out and saw Loona sitting on the couch eating some scrambled while watching some Television.
"You're finally awake. There are some scrambled eggs waiting for you dork." Loona says as she continues looking at the TV.
"I didn't know you could cook." I said as I helped myself with some eggs and sat with her."
"You need to learn more about me. I have been thinking. You don't mind me living with you, don't you?" She asked.
"Do you have your own place to live?" I asked with curiosity.
"I used to live in hell with a trio of asshole imps and one of them is my guardian." Loona explains.
"What made you leave Hell and come to Liberty city?" I asked.
"Well. Blitzo made me mad and didn't care how I felt after someone broke my heart. There was some hellhound named Vortex. He was my first crush until I found out he was already taken. Blitzo didn't care that I was upset and worried about his business. His associates were even worse, one of them said I'm not good enough for anyone and the other called me a crying bitch." She explains.
"Wow. That's just really cruel." I spoke while shocked and disgusted by what they did to her.
I was even shocked that she knew Vortex as well.
"So, I packed my things and ran away and temporarily stayed with Ava since she saw me struggling as I was trying to get used to the city. She was a good friend to be honest." She said as she looked down.
"You know. I knew you only for a few days, but I'll let you move in with me. I just need some time to build trust." I explained.
"Even though I'm a hellhound Stan. I'm not evil." Loona says.
"When did I call you evil?" I asked.
"Not yet. But you are the first man that doesn't run away from me or call me evil because I'm from Hell."
"Well. Since I have nothing to do today. Well go get your things from Ava's place and help you get settled here. Man, it will be cramped in here." I said as I looked around the apartment."
"Don't worry. I only have a trunk filled with my clothes, toiletries, and my personal items." She says as she finishes her plate.
"Well, you better get dressed if you want to get going." I said as I put my plate in the dishwasher.
"Don't rush a lady, Stan. That's lesson number one." She says before heading to my bedroom to change.
Later during the day, I helped Loona get settled into my apartment after picking up her trunk from Ava's place. It was kinda odd to finally have someone live with me. That is some girl I'm starting to like but Loona is some girl I want to be with. As we headed back Loona started to unpack her things while I helped her settle down.
"Things might be a little cramped in here when I think about getting furniture of my own when I save up." Loona says as she starts unpacking her clothes.
"True but when I get some stuff together financially, we could move to a nice apartment in Algonquin." I said as I made some room for her stuff in my closet.
"Your crappy job at the docks?" Loona asked.
"Nope. I have a plan, but it's kinda dangerous and a hell of a situation." I said as I looked down.
"What do you mean? Did something happen?" Loona asked.
"Well yeah. Im stupid friends did a weed deal without telling me last week." I explained as I sat down with a worried look.
"How bad was it?" Loona asked.
"Well they planned a deal with some mafia leader of a nasty mob of Algonquin is the Spades."
"The Spades?!" Loona asked while shocked.
"Yes, and now I have to run a weed operation in a warehouse in the Broker district to make huge amounts of weed for him while they have my friends as hostages being tortured until I help pay off their debt that they owe to the spades. I don't know how to do it. I have no experience doing something this huge." I explained while looking down upset.
"What if I help you?" Loona asked.
"I don't want you to be in their crosshairs." I spoke/
"No. I want to be part of this gold mine. I did crime all the time in hell." Loona says as she held my hand.
"This is dangerous. Are you sure you want to be part of this weed operation? There is no turning back on this." I warned her.
"I'm in. I can help you run it." Loona says.
"Alright then." I said with confidence.
We then kissed for a while in bed until I got a text from Mr. Freddrick.
"They said they got everything ready to go to the warehouse." I said.
"I'm ready to go." Loona says as she gets ready.
"Here, you might need something to fight with." I said as I tossed her a combat pistol with a holster.
We headed out of the apartment and headed to the warehouse that is in the industrial area south of the Broker district in Dukes-Broker Island. Time to face the music.
