As it was finally morning, my alarm went off and I slammed the snooze button, but it didn't help since I heard Natayla telling me to get up since it was my first day of school that I got transferred to. Since I'm only sixteen, I was accepted of being a freshman to a high school. I never gone to a school before since Natalya homeschooled me since I was five in Russia.

I went to the bathroom to shower, brush my teeth and put on some deodorant and went to change into some casual clothes and grabbed my backpack with some school supplies I needed. Natalya made a plate of breakfast for me of eggs, bacon, and some gravy and biscuits. I sat down and started eating fast since I only have an hour till school starts.

"Dasha! Hurry up! You don't want to be late on your first day of your job!" Natalya shouted

I saw Dasha running out of her room in her business suit and tried to get ready as fast as she can and went to make herself a plate. I heard that she was hired at a box office for Verizon service, and I know she's not going to like it anyway but it's the only paying job available that can make a living.

"Stan, you know which train to take for school right?" Natalya asked.

"Yeah, the east district." I answered while I continued eating.

"Good, I don't want to be late on your first day of school little cub." Natalya says with a smile.

"Yeah, but I never experienced about school since you homeschooled me. I'm not sure I'm ready to be honest." I explained.

"Of course, you are, you will make friends and have a good time in this society." She spoke.

"I guess." I answered.

"Hey, it's real life, it will be hell every day." Dasha says as she sat down.

"Dasha! Be nice to your brother!" Natayla snapped.

"It's the truth." Dasha says.

I rolled my eyes and finished my plate. As it was time to go, I headed down the steps and made sure my dragon dagger is hidden in my backpack, just must make sure I won't get caught with it while I'm at school since I must keep it with me for self-defense, since I got beaten down by The Wolf Gang yesterday.

As I walked outside into the street, I was about to head to the subway entrance, but I heard a honk from a familiar car and a familiar wolf in the driver seat.

"Hey Stan! You need a ride?!" Velvela asked.

"Um sure, coming!" I shouted as I got in the passenger seat.

"How are you doing today?" She asked.

"Just woke up, how about you?" I asked.

"Eh, had to wake up as well. I hope you are going to the same high school." She spoke.

"Uh, Preston High school." I spoke.

"Awesome! I go there too!" Velvela says.

"What does it look like?" I asked.

"Do you ever go to a school?" She asked.

"No, I was homeschooled. My mom taught me." I answered.

"Really? You are lucky."

"Well, I couldn't go to a school in Russia since Natalya wanted me to stay home and the teachers only speak Russian. I speak English better." I explained.
