Chapter 31: Heist planning

   The next morning, I was still asleep while Loona was already up and making some breakfast. She was cracking some eggs onto the hot pan and making some pancakes and bacon onto the stove.

"Stan! Breakfast!" Loona shouted as she set up the table.

   I was still in a deep sleep, and haven't heard her yet. Loona scoffs as he heads to our bedroom and she pulls the sheets off me as she shakes me a few times.

"Wake up Stan. Breakfast is getting cold." Loona says as she pulls me out of the bed.

"Ok, ok." I said as I started walking to the dining room with her.

   We both sat down as we started making our plates while we ate. As half-an hour passed, someone was knocking at the door and Loona went to answer.

"Who's knocking at this time of day for fuck sake?" Loona asks herself as she eats a piece of bacon and opens the door.

"Hello, pup." Verosika says with a smirk.

Loona immediately loses her cool as she was angry at seeing her again.

   "What the hell do you want, and how do you know where we live?" Loona asked while growling a little.

   "Calm down puppy. I'm here just to let you know that Mr.Freddrick needs you and that hunk Stan for a heist he is planning against the Diamonds. My friends and I are hired since he mentioned gold bars as pay." She explains.

"A heist?" I asked with interest.

   "Yeah. Gold bars from the Diamonds mansion. You should go head there right now for the planning. I'll be waiting for you." Verosika says as she leaves.

"God, she gets on my nerves." Loona says as she tries to stay calm.

   "Don't mind her. Guess it time to go see what our boss is planning." I said as changed into some normal clothing.

"Hang on. I'm still in my nightgown!" Loona shouted as ran to the bedroom fast.

Later...

Mr. Freddrick and Verosika's crew were in the study room of the mansion planning the heist.

   "So, your men can create a distraction at the front gate of the diamond mansion, while my friends can get in the back door and locate the safe in Mr. Minreck's bedroom where the gold bars are." Apple explains.

"He has hired Merryweather private security as well, and they don't mess around." Milky warns.

  "A few dumbass private grunts won't do shit. I can blow their heads off easily." Josh says with confidence.

"And burning the mansion afterwards." Coco added as she pulled out a Molotov bottle.

"Do what it takes. I want my rival to pay for his betrayal." Mr. Freddrick agrees.

  "Um, sir. Are you sure it's a good idea of going that far? Should we just have a talk with the diamonds?" Rick suggested.

"NO!" Mr. Freddrick shouted as he slammed his fist on the table.

  "I had enough of Thomas! He treats me like a little brother and then stabs me in the back at the end. If he thinks he can get away by bullying me? That's what he gets!" He shouted as he threw a chair out the window.

"Whoa! Chill out, man." Ace says as he raises his hands up.

   "Where is that human and that hellhound that is supposed to join us?" Mr. Freddrick asked as he asked as he tried to calm down.

"They just arrived." Verosika says as she saw us coming in the study.

"Sorry we're late so what kind of heist is this?" Loona asked.

"A heist that will pay well." Kiki answers.

   "Yes. So go get what you need and get it done tonight. I'll send some of my men to help attack the mansion." Mr. Freddrick says as he gave us a list of weapons and money to pay for them.

"I don't like working with her." Loona says as she gripes about Verosika.

"This is temporary and if it involves gold and keeping the diamonds off our backs. I'm fine with it." I spoke as I got into the van with Verosika and her crew.

A heist that will be breathtaking.
