Lena wakes up goggy eyes she didn't realize she stayed the night at Kara's
IN KARAS BED!
Lena finds an arm securely wrap around her and hears soft snoring behind her. She slowly moves to go to the bathroom, sheepishly falls on the floor with the sheets wrapped around her legs
Kara wakes up instantly
"Lena are you okay?" Lena blushes and rubs her sleepy eyes
"Yeah I'm fine I just tripped over my own feet" trying to hide her embarrassment from falling off the bed in front of the woman she has feelings for
Kara gets up from her bed and helps Lena up from the floor and Kara secretly scans Lena to make sure she didn't twist anything or hurt herself and their eyes met and Kara becomes lost in the sea of eyes staring back
Lena goes to the bathroom and gets freshen up as Kara makes them coffee for the day and orders them breakfast, the last thing Kara needs is to embarrass herself from burning eggs
Lena finishes her breakfast and gets ready for work thanks to her driver to get her clothes from her hotel
Kara quickly plays with her cup of coffee and tells Lena about her job at CatCo and how Cat can get a little annoying
Lena gives her advice to work hard and she'll be at the top of her game
Lena leaves and Kara has her apartment by herself again, she looks around the living room with the blanket on the couch that Kara and Lena were cuddled under during the movie, she remembers Lena fell asleep in Kara's arms, Kara floated them to the bed without Lena even noticing..
She didn't want to snuggle the woman in her bed so she decided to lay on her side of the bed and sleep, in the mists of her sleeping she could hear Lena and the streets below, she could hear Lena mumble something in her sleep and Kara rolls over to make sure Lena was okay as Lena begins to shake in her sleep fearing something, Kara puts her arm around Lena and gently presses herself against Lena and she could feel Lena tensed body relax and begin to fall fast asleep peacefully. Kara felt Lena hand over hers lightly as Lena rolls over onto her back and Kara shifts over a bit to give Lena room and moved her arm away, Lena distinctly put Kara's arm back where it was and pulled her arm so Kara could come closer
Sometime throughout the night Kara became the little spoon and Lena followed and became the big spoon not once letting go of Kara
Kara slept peacefully in a very long time
Kara phone pings and it brings her out of the memory from last night
"Good luck on your date tonight, thank you for letting me stay over :) -L"
Kara responds with a smile
"You're welcome anytime" Kara remembered she had a date to go tonight after work
