She's walks into Noonans having a rough morning, she stands at the counter waiting to order her tea when she notices at the corner of her eye, a beautiful blonde is shoving food in her mouth tapping onto her laptop with a look of frustration
She can feel the blonde eyes land on her face, as she grabs the warm green tea, she approaches the blonde girl, with a smile, looks around to pretend she wants to sit down by herself
"Excuse me, do you mind if I join you? The tables seem to be filled" She watches as the blonde fumbles to get her words right
"Looks like the resume is coming along great" as Lena notices nothing is typed on the screen
Kara smiles at Lena and they decided to work on Kara's resume together while Kara talks about about graduating from National City University.
Lena can fill the warmth in Kara voice as she talks about her fantasy about becoming a journalist
"Well, I feel like you will do great as a journalist, you're way ahead of the game,
with barely anything written" as Kara blushes at Lena's response
Lena notices Kara blue eyes shine from the sun entering behind them from the window, and Lena had to hold her breath from not wanting to jump into the sea of beauty
As Lena gets her phone back from Kara, as she stares at her phone for a minute trying to figure out the right words to send Kara so she sent something simple
Lena:
"I had a nice time chatting with you, I hope we can catch up soon"
Kara:
"I hope so too"
Lena and Kara then on out would stay up on late night calls
Lena started to develop feelings she told herself she would not allow herself to have
She told herself she would never trust anyone again after what her family did to her while growing up, but Kara had ahold of her pulling her out of her shell a bit
She couldn't tell if Kara had the same feelings so she kept them to herself
Lena was searching up flowers to send Kara the next morning and her favorite sticky buns from Noonan's. With a slight smile on her face looking for the perfect vase for the flowers
She hit the purchase button on her order and fell asleep
The next morning Lena receives a text message from Kara thanking her for the flowers Lena offers Kara lunch and they decided to go to Stilton Pizza one place Kara can't get enough from
Lena met up with Kara to walk to Stilton Pizza across the street from her apartment, she was surprised to see Kara ate so much food and then decided to mention she was going on a date with some guy that was matched up by a dating website. Lena shook off the idea at that moment that Kara had any feelings for Lena and supported Kara's decision
