Lena was getting ready for a meeting when she heard her phone ring and unexpectedly it was Cat Grant from CatCo
"Hello Miss Grant everything alright?" Lena not sure why on earth Miss Grant would call
"Have you heard from Kara I saw you and Kara hung out at the table last week here for lunch. She hasn't been to work in a week, and unlike her to go..missing.." Cat Grant sounds concerns and half annoyed at the
same time.
"Uhm, no no I haven't, we haven't spoken in over a week as well, I can possibly run by her apartment when I get finish with work and see if she's home." Lena not sure what's going on, still mad at Kara but is concerned for her
Lena heads over to Kara place after canceling her meetings, she knocks on the door with no answer. She calls Kara phone and texted her with no answer.
She then sees a woman with short dark brown hair walks up
"Can I help you?" Alex asks perplexed to see someone at Kara's apartment
"Hi, I'm Lena, Lena Luthor, I'm looking for Kara have you by chance seen her? Cat Grant from CatCo called me and informed me she hasn't been at work in over a week" Lena let's the woman know
Alex unlocks the door and lets Lena inside "I''m Kara's sister Alex, and Lena Luthor? Related to Lex Luthor. Kara is fine she's just needed to space, I will let Miss Grant knows about Kara's whereabouts. I assume you have places to be?" Alex rinses a glass of water and starts watering Kara's plants and putting her mail on the counter
"I.. uh yes, um before I go, I know who Kara is, her secret is safe with me, just so you know I would never harm Kara in any way." Lena heads towards the door as she gets ready to exit Alex tells Lena to wait and talk about what's going on
"Kara is at the DEO, I assume your familiar with it because of Lex and Superman. My director has her in a holding cell and won't release her until he feels like she's not a threat to National City" Alex explains over a cup of warm tea and pours a cup for Lena as well.
"I don't understand, Kara isn't dangerous, we of all people know this. I.. I'm sorry but you have to convince the director to let her go, it's for her own good. Plus I haven't had the chance to apologize for being hateful towards her." Lena plays with her coat remembering the couch they use to cuddle on and Kara smile and laughter
"I am doing the best I can, I brought some things to Kara from here to keep her mind occupied but she kept mentioning you and CatCo. Did you two have a thing together?" Alex asks nervously trying to not pry the answers out
"I.. I have developed feelings for Kara yes, I am not sure for Kara, if she feels the same way." Lena plays with the tea bag in the cup
"Look I don't much about you and Kara's relationship, but we have to try to get her out. And Kara has nothing but nice things to say about you." Alex gave Lena a sincere look
Lena and Alex head to the DEO together to see if they can convince Hank to release Kara
