one thing he learns about her is she's chaos. a complete utter havoc when
she's on edge. because what do you mean he woke up and she's already standing over him, her dagger at his neck?

he sighs, yawning as he sits up, ignoring her.  " you passed out. " he muttered, gently nudging her hand aside, seeing as she hasn't moved, and she's just probably anxious about being in an unknown place. she won't attack him unless he attacks her.

" ....passed out? "

she lowers her weapon and he nods, rolling his eyes. " you wouldn't wake up even after a bunch of fucking drunkards tried to take you away. You're welcome. "

" why would you help me? "

levi stared at her. hell if he knew. was it because she's so cruel and unconcerned while killing someone? or was it because she tries to hide that fear while wielding the knife against someone to protect herself?

doesn't he know how it feels already? when the horrors of the past crawl up to his conscience? he can see the things she went through must be horrible as well.

those eyes just reflect his so much.

he couldn't protect himself, perhaps he was hoping to protect that small light that still lingers in her eyes? since he has lost his own light....

" I don't know. " he grumbled, " I'm going out. "

hours pass by and when he returns, he's partly hoping she's still there. a part of him is confused as to why he hopes for her staying with him, but he has given up on trying to make sense long ago.

dwelling on things is not his cup of tea, he accepts the fact as soon as it comes. he wants her to stay with him, maybe he just wants to protect her? maybe he finds her skills great and thinks they can work well together.

he is slightly disappointed to find no presence as he enters the tattered house, heaving out a sigh as he makes his way towards the kitchen to put the food he stole aside safely.
