" yo, levi! "

levi sighs, shutting his eyes and facing the girl that skipped towards him and his new squad. behind her trailed two military men that made him scowl.

" why are you here? " he spat sourly, glancing at y/n who was awkwardly standing there, the squad was looking at her curiously.

" what's it to you? "

y/n shoots a glare towards one of the men, " they're here to meet erwin for something. i was just showing them the way. "

" and why do you have to explain yourself to him, y/n? "

y/n cringed at the tall man said her name. he was trying to flirt with her, wasn't he? the audacity to do that though? right in front of levi...

" he's my captain, and my—"

" he's just a captain. he doesn't own you. " the tall blond said, arms crossed in arrogance. " say, how about a date later tonight? i can take

you to a nice meal and have some fun? whatchu think? "

y/n blinks, facing him. " uh...no. not really interested. "

the man frowns, " why not? it's not like you'll find anyone else. "

" i fucking dare you to try that again. " levi's deep voice rang around, fists trembling with rage.

" not only do you stand on the ground of scouts but behave inappropriately with one of them, take no as a fucking no. "

" pfft..." the man flicked his bangs out of his eyes. good, he'll need that to see the incoming punch! — y/n thinks as she glanced at levi.

" i'll lead you to the commander's office. right this way—"

" hey, come on! i know you want to go on the date with me! i couldn't have read the signs wrong! " the man urged, grabbing her forearm.

" you kept staring at me earlier. and to be honest, i kind of like you too. you're beautiful and it'll feel nice to have your body standing beside mine—"

y/n flinched as the man hit the ground, facing levi. " hey, it's okay. stop it—"

" apologize, you fucker. " levi growled, only held

back by y/n whilst his squad stood there, gaping in shock over levi's new side.

the man on the ground spat blood out, glaring up at them. " why would i apologize to a fucking slut? "

" you—"

" levi. "

levi struggled against the tactic, she always does this. he grumbled, a huff escaping his lips as he feels her arms wrap around his neck, standing in front of him.

" stop, he's not worth it. don't waste your energy, sunshine. "

he scowled deeper, but it drifts away as she looks up at him, " just calm down. "
he grumbled under his breath, eyes fluttering shut as she moved to her tip toes, joining her forehead with his.

and then, he realizes they're not alone. he flushed, pulling away and clearing his throat as he faced the man on the ground.

" you're going to see erwin, anyway. i'll join you, he might want to write a letter to your captain. "
