“ let him be. ” y/n mumbles as she settles beside levi, “ he earned it so he can spend it the way he wants.”
levi shoots her a look, but nods as furlan sits on the couch with a sigh. “ what about you, y/n? what are you doing with the money? ”
“ not sure, yet.”
levi scoffs softly, “ you should buy makeup. ” he held back a smile, leaning aside as she went to smack the back of his head, immediately catching her wrist.
“ cheap comment, ackerman. ” she mutters, pulling her hand out of his grip, “ I was just fixing your hair. ”
furlan purses his lips to stop himself from laughing at how adorable they were, watching as levi stares at y/n who is busy fixing his hair, it was visible levi was trying not to melt physically.
the three still as there’s a thud against the door which makes them alert, they’re already standing up. levi grips on the dagger he had been cleaning, moving in front of Y/n as he nods.
furlan nods back, slowly grabbing the door knob and throwing the door open. y/n blinks as a figure falls in with a thud, yelping in pain.
she tilts her head in confusion, “ tsk..”
“ it’s just some kid! don’t scare us like that. ” furlan mutters and the girl grumbles, but doesn’t move from her crouched position. “ I’m not a kid!! ”
“ is that so? ” levi mutters bored, “ then I won’t feel bad chasing you out. I’ll ignore the fact that you got the floor dirty so get lost. ”
“ she’s holding something.” y/n mutters, grabbing levi’s sleeve, “ might be a weapon so be careful." levi nods while furlan provokes the kid, who snaps back.
“ what a feisty one?!”
“ HERE! ” they hear and y/n watches as the girl freezes, the bird cradled in her hand making y/n confused. “ you were chased here. ”
“ what now? ” furlan asks, glancing at levi, then at her. y/n stares blankly at the girl, “ throw her out. ” but her mind immediately changes after she hears the words of one of the thugs who was chasing the girl. she clicks her tongue, “ after they leave. ”
