" uh, captain!!! " connie almost screamed, clutching his stomach, distracting levi who was fuming and was about to storm over towards
y/n and jake.

" what?! " levi scowled, facing him. connie almost peed himself in terror, " can i...uh go to the bathroom?! "

" are you a fucking kid, brat?! "

armin sighed in relief as he watched jake disappear towards the building,
y/n faced them with a sour face, animatedly muttering to herself and cringing continously.

he chuckled softly, glancing at levi to see him staring at y/n too, his scowl slowly disappearing. armin beams at the rare sight of levi's smile, he swore he heard a "tch...cute" from levi.

levi had honestly, tried not to talk about the topic. but he has had enough. he stared blankly but threateningly at jake who sat across him and beside y/n, laughing and talking with hange and an awkward moblit.

erwin was sat beside him, quietly watching them with a fond smile. there were two reasons he wanted to drag jake's ass out of here and beat him to pulp.

one, y/n looked extremely awkward and out of place sitting beside him, perhaps he was really making her uncomfortable.

and two, he simply didn't like jake's guts anyway. he doesn't need an excuse.

he keeps noticing the little advances of jake, the man might pretend he's oblivious but levi isn't blind.

he crossed his arms, leaning back as he eyed jake's hand that was inching closer to y/n's, that rested on the table.

his lips twitched into a smirk as y/n smartly grabbed a spoon before jake's hand meets her, " do you mind if i take the meat, levi? "

she asked with her usual soft smile towards him.

he nods, " go ahead. "

" hey, but he ate from it! here, take mine. " jake smiled at y/n, who has a comical look on her face, as if jake had made the funniest joke.

levi hid his smirk behind his teacup, glancing at his squad who were snickering on another table and shook his head slightly.

y/n takes her time to eat the meat, " we do that a lot, don't worry about it. "

erwin shot a smirk towards hange who giggled. " switch teams? " hange mouthed and he nods.

hange smirked as she faced jake and
y/n, giggling.

" jake, i'm surprised you don't know! levi and y/n even share a tea cup. you don't have to be so edgy around here, it's very normal for them. "

jake gaped at them while y/n pretended to be oblivious this time, taking another bite out of

levi's plate. " are you done eating though? you didn't eat much. "

" i'm not hungry, brat. " he muttered, though his tone soft, he glanced away slightly, " besides, you like that meat. "

y/n just smiles wider at him, " thanks. "

hange almost choked on her food at the sour look on jake's face, but the man is quick to cover it up.

she shared a glance with erwin, realizing the man was up to no good with y/n by that small slip up.

" anyway, it's dinner time. that means we're off duty. " jake smiled as he whispered, " have you thought about my question, y/n? where would you like to go? "
