After dying, Yuuji Itadori, vessel of the King of Curses Ryomen Sukuna, found himself alive and in another world. Sukuna was gone, but his cursed techniques had been engraved into his body. Yuuji wandered around and learned that he was in the Empire, as well as the corruption that was spreading throughout the nation. He wandered into a village that had under the attack by Esdeath's forces. He succeeded in driving them back and word of his achievement reached not only the government but also the Revolutionary Army. Thinking that Yuuji was in possession of an Imperial Arms, they revolution sent the assassin group Night Raid to possibly recruit him and his imperial arm.
