In this story, Licita never abandoned Asta, and Liebe was adopted by the family of two.
A few months after encountering the magicless devil, the two brothers had a chance encounter with a shinobi with red hair named Sasori. After asking him to teach them ninjutsu, Sasori taught the boys everything he knew before passing away. Some time later, Liebe and Asta are robbed of their mother by the Devil King Lucifero. After that, the brothers decided to make Licita's body into a puppet, and vow to take revenge on Lucifero for taking their mother away from them.
