Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV
I'm prepared to take action, and my acting abilities are also prepared.
I exited the room and guided Kian to the living room. She stood up and signaled for me to join him in his car. I entered silently. She had already started driving. Our journey was silent, without any conversation or words exchanged.
Finally, we reached our destination, bringing an end to that remarkably quiet flight.
"Oh, it's nice that you and your wife stopped by," Mom, Kian's mother, said to us.
"Mom, my wife is interested in visiting," Kian responded, holding my hand. She's the one who extended the invitation, and she'll provide more details. I genuinely want to visit, but unfortunately, she isn't with me.
"Oh, please come inside," Mom invited. We entered and took seats in the living room.
"When do you plan to bless us with a grandchild?"I was taken aback by Dad's question, Kian's father.
"Well, you know, Dad... um, it's just, I'm not quite sure how to answer that," I stammered, struggling to find the right words.
I glanced at Kian, seeking her assistance.
"We're making an effort. Perhaps we'll give it a try later tonight," came the surprising response from my wife, Kian. She even planted a kiss on my lips.
"You're quite affectionate in public big sis," Aeris exclaimed.
"Aeris, that's how love feels," Kian said before kissing me once more on the lips. Is it possible that she is being abusive?
"Lucian and I won't kiss in public to maintain our privacy," Aeris shared, surprising all of us with her artful expression.
I was aware of her fondness for my sister, but I didn't anticipate her being so explicit.
"Do you have feelings for Lucian?" Kian asked, visibly surprised.
"Not just a liking, Big Sis. I love her," she declared with a furrowed brow. Mom was taken aback by Aeris' revelation.
"Oh, you're still young, so it's normal to feel that way," Dad remarked. Aeris rolled her eyes in response.
"I'm not a child anymore, Dad. I'm a young adult woman," she asserted before leaving and heading to her room.
"That's genuinely" Mom sighed. We continued our conversation late into the night.
"Mom, Dad, we're leaving now," I said as I bid them farewell. A kiss on Mom's cheek, and Kian had the car ready. She opened the door, allowing me to get in.
Given that our parents are watching, it's only fitting for him to act chivalrously towards me now. She ignited the engine and steered the car.
The flight remained tranquil as usual. Amidst the silence, my phone chimed, revealing a text message. It was that mischievous character once again.
Yusei: Hey, Grumpy. Let's head to the bar with Cyra, my dear.
Yusei and I share a close bond, yet there are times when we become adversaries. She can be quite bothersome.
Me: Come to our house to pick me up.
Yusei: Sure, tonight at 8:00.
It's only six o'clock, but that's why Kian is in such a rush. There's a catch because the other girl is accompanying her.
Yusei: By the way, my sister is accompanying me.
Me: Ok
I place my phone inside my bag.
