Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV

I am confused by Kian's behavior. She was very cold towards me, and I am unsure if I did something wrong to upset her. I tried to think back to see if I had done anything, but I couldn't understand it.

During one of our dates, she was very affectionate, fulfilling my every wish and showering me with kisses every minute. That's why I find it surprising that she is treating me this way now. I approached her with concern.

"Do we have a problem, Kian?" I asked anxiously.

I dislike this feeling. I don't want her to hide her troubles from me or ignore me. I want her attention on me. She ignored her phone for a while before looking at me.

"I don't have any," she replied curtly and returned her focus to her phone. She claimed there was no issue, but her demeanor was icy. I wondered if her phone was more important to her than me.

"Who are you texting?"

"I'm leaving," she said.

"What's wrong with her? It's like she can't even see me anymore." I pondered for a while. Deciding there was nothing I could do, I headed to the kitchen to find something to eat, settling for a piece of cake.

Instead of complaining, I indulged in the delicious cake. Later, I would confront my wife, who seemed distant again.

Kian Calen Levington's POV

Ugh. I have to keep up the act of being upset with Asteria. She looks like she's on the verge of tears. I didn't want to do this, but it's necessary for my plan.

Yes, it's all part of my plan. I parked my car in front of a restaurant where I had been before. Walking in, I saw Thea sitting at a table and took a seat across from her.

"So, what do you want to know?" she asked, taking a sip of her drink.

"I wanted to know what venue Asteria preferred for the wedding" i said and she is her best friend. I couldn't ask Asteria directly. Cyra's eyes widened amd she smiled.

"Omg, Are you getting married again?" she asked, amused. I nodded and scolded her for being loud. She took a deep breath.

"Tsk, don't be so loud," I scolded her.

"Asteria really wants to have the wedding in a garden. It's been her dream," she said with a smile. I nodded in agreement.

Asteria loves gardens. She adores the flowers in our home and often gazes at them. After obtaining the information I needed, I asked Thea not to tell Asteria about the upcoming wedding, wanting to surprise her. Cyra was shocked.

"You mean Asteria doesn't know about the wedding?" she asked wide-eyed. I confirmed.

"Wow, that's a big surprise! It takes things to a whole new level, Kian!" she exclaimed happily.

Asteria Celeste Averix Levington's POV

"Baby, do you think I upset your Daddy?" I asked Zyrone while watching TV. He glanced at me.

"Mommy, I don't think you did anything to upset Daddy," he replied before returning his focus to the television. Is there truly nothing wrong? I held my breath in frustration.

As for Kian, why hasn't she told the truth yet? It's driving me crazy trying to figure it out. When the door opened, and Kian entered.

"Daddy!" Zyrone exclaimed and rushed to his father. I approached her and quickly kissed her on the lips.

"Good evening," I greeted with a smile.

"Evening," she replied briefly without looking at me, signaling that something was indeed wrong.

"Let's eat," I attempted to smile, though I felt like crying inside. It's troubling. Why is she being so distant with me? In the kitchen, I prepared the food.

"Eat," I instructed as I sat next to my wife, who remained cold towards me.

"It's delicious, Mommy!" Zyrone exclaimed, taking another bite. I glanced at Kian, who seemed to be making an effort.

"Isn't it tasty?" I inquired.

"Yeah," she replied. I stood up and lightly hit the table.

"Zyrone, go to your room," I commanded. He got up and left for his room, unable to calm down. I turned to Kian.

"What exactly is bothering you?" I asked, annoyed.

She furrowed her brow. "What?"

Annoyed, I pressed on.

"I asked, what's wrong with you? Tell me!" I raised my voice in frustration. She shrugged.

"Nothing," she lazily replied, continuing to eat. My outburst seemed to have no effect. Disheartened, I turned away from her.

"I hate you!" I shouted, retreating to the room and locking the door. Where she sleeps is up to her! It seems she doesn't realize how much she's hurting me, and I can't stop crying.

"What's the problem?" I asked myself, unable to discern the cause. I'm scared and find myself staring at my reflection in the mirror. Have I been too clingy, causing her to become fed up? I shook my head. Regardless, the important thing is getting rest for the sake of my baby.
