Kian Calen Levington POV

I've been waiting for Asteria for quite some time, but she still hasn't shown up. I feel incredibly guilty because I responded to Kate's kiss. It was a mistake, and I know it. What would my wife think if she saw that? She would undoubtedly be hurt once again.

I'm longing for Asteria's presence, missing her and our son. When she finally arrives, I'll have to confess the truth about what happened with Kate. I know it will likely lead to another argument between us, but I can't keep it hidden.

Where is she? It's already midnight, and I'm growing increasingly worried. She said she would just go for a walk, but she hasn't returned yet. I tried calling Cyra to check if Asteria was with her, but she's not. Reluctantly, I asked Cyra for Sorin's number to inquire about Asteria's whereabouts, but Sorin doesn't know either. I even called Lucian's house, but they're unaware of Asteria's location. Aeris didn't provide any answers either.

Where else can I look? Who else can I ask?

Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV

I've organized all my documents for my trip, everything's in order. I've also prepared a passport for my journey to Korea. Despite my condition, I insisted on going, citing an emergency. None of them are aware of my plans to leave the country.

I wasn't given any information. I'm prepared to raise our child alone, especially since the other mother seems preoccupied with other matters. Besides, Kate is also pregnant, so they'll have each other. I don't need them in our lives. I'll head back to the hotel. Perhaps I'll retrieve my belongings from Kian's and my house tomorrow. I'm departing for Korea tomorrow night.

Kate Brillantes POV

I'm back home now. Can I confide in Kian about this? Maybe later. I welcomed Jamella, my best friend, inside. She's aware that I'm not actually pregnant. I offered her a seat and served some juice and cupcakes.

"How have you been?" she inquired, taking a small bite of the cupcake.

"I'm okay. And you?" I joined her on the sofa.

"I'm still doing great," she replied with a smile.

"By the way, how's things going with your girlfriend?" I asked, curious about their relationship.

"We're doing well," she answered happily.

"That's good to hear," I remarked.

"Let's hope it stays that way, and maybe one day you'll be the one getting married," I teased, winking at her.

Kian Calen Levington POV

I'm still at home, reluctant to leave, especially since Estria hasn't returned. Where could she be? She didn't come home last night, and I'm worried she might be considering leaving suddenly.

Me: Does anyone know where your sister is, Lucian?

Lucian: Still no sign of her, Sister.

Her confirmation that Estria didn't come home only added to my concern.

Me: Alright, please inform me if you hear anything. I put down my phone, grabbed my car keys, and headed out.

"Naya, call me immediately if Asteria comes home," I instructed our maid before leaving. I started the car and drove to Cyra's house.

"Oh, Kian. Have you seen Asteria?" Cyra greeted me, clearly concerned.

"I'm still looking. You don't know either?" I asked her.

"No, I asked Sorin, but she said she didn't know either," Cyra replied. I nodded and left, returning to my car. As I reached for the doorbell, my phone rang. I quickly answered, thinking it might be Asteria, but it turned out to be Kate calling.

"Hello," I said, unsure of what to expect.

"How are you and Kian?" It was Jamella's voice, Kate's friend. Kate chuckled in the background.

"Okay, okay. You know when I plan, it succeeds," Kate replied. Plan? Was she pretending to be pregnant? Is that why she always avoids when I touch her stomach?

"It's unbelievable how Kian believes you're pregnant and doesn't suspect a thing," her friend added.

"When I kissed her, the timing was perfect because I saw Asteria peeking at us. I even saw the look of pain on her face," Kate boasted.

"You're really good," her friend praised, seemingly encouraging her wrongdoing.

I ended the call, feeling exhausted. I've heard enough. Kate is a real cheater. And now another problem: Asteria saw us kissing. I now understand why she hasn't come home. She's likely planning to leave. I need to find her before it's too late.

Cyra Smith POV

I've finally found Asteria. We're here at the hotel, having a conversation.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her.

"I'm sure," she replied.

"If that's your decision, then I won't interfere anymore," I assured her. I've learned from past mistakes that my interference only caused her more pain. I hope she's made the right choice and that it brings her genuine happiness. Perhaps she's been keeping things from me because she knows I'll overthink it.

I'll miss my friend dearly. She might end up staying in another country for a long time. Perhaps she'll even meet a Kpop star there. I hope that's all there is to it. Above all, I hope she finds true happiness there, free from the problems she faced here. I genuinely want the best for my friend. Seeing her cry always tugs at my heartstrings.
