Kian Calen Levington POV
I am in my office now. Busy looking at documents. I have also become a workaholic. No more time for other things. My two year wait turned into five. Our son is definitely big. I tried to be happy even without him. Even if they don't have my son. But I can't just do that. I still need her. She's still the missing piece in my heart. The intercom rang and my secretary spoke from there.
"Ma'am Kiab. Sir Brix is here. Shall I let him in?" he asked.
"Let him in" I answered. What else could this man need? If he forces me to go out again, I don't know if I will agree. I'm not in the mood and I don't feel like it.
"Yes, Ma'am." The door opened and Brix finally entered. It's smiling at me.
"How are you? Are you still busy?" he asked and sat in the chair in front of my desk.
"What do you need? Are you going to insist?" I will ask. He nodded.
"You got it right bro. You came with me even now. Don't get too involved in your business. You won't lose money," he added. I was holding the bridge of my nose. It's really nasty.
"What time is it?" frowned when I asked. He was applauded.
"Wow agreed. First time," he said happily.
"Do you want me to take it back?" I threatened him. He smiled like a dog.
"You can't be a joke. We'll see you again later at seven o'clock." I nodded and pushed him away.
"Yes. Go away and I'm still busy," I said. He came to me and patted my arm.
"You're always busy, what's new? I'll just see you later, ah. I'm leaving" he said goodbye and walked out, It's really chatty. I agreed to what he wanted because it's only once, I want to have fun first. So that when I come home later, I will go straight to sleep and won't be drowned in thinking about my wife and my son.

"We'll talk later. Let's go to the parlor first," she said, pulling me towards the row of parlor shops. Cyra and I are now together. She visited me earlier, and we also brought Zyrone with us. He was thrilled because Arianna could be with him and play. What he did was quite flattering, but it's too early for my son to know about such things. It's really different. As we entered, we were greeted by two women. Cyra requested services for both of us.
We were seated, and the work was about to begin. We even went to the spa and had our hair done.
"Where are we going later?" I asked while we were still there. She checked her wristwatch.
"It's only four in the afternoon. We still have time. We're going to the bar at seven," she replied. I nodded, watching in the mirror as the woman styled my hair.
"Which bar are we going to?"
"The Crown bar," she answered simply, also observing her hair being done.
"Won't your wife be upset that we're going to the bar?" I inquired.
She chuckled slightly. "If this was before, maybe. But Yusei has matured and is no longer jealous," she explained, displaying a newfound confidence. It's made a significant difference.
"Yes, I've noticed that too," I remarked.
"What's your room number?" she furrowed her brow as she asked.
"Room number 145, right? Don't you remember?" I asked, surprised. She chuckled.
"We're getting older. I just forgot," she offered as an excuse. I simply nodded.
"Well, I won't be surprised anymore. You really will forget," I replied. The hairstyling was almost complete.
"You're really going to tease me," she said, playfully hitting my arm. We both laughed, enjoying the camaraderie with the hairstylists.
At the Crown bar...
I'm wearing a fitted black dress. It's not revealing, but it still accentuates my figure. Luckily, even after having a child, my body shape has remained the same, if not improved. We found a seat in the corner, ignoring the other patrons at nearby tables.
"I'll go to the counter first to order a drink," Cyra said, bidding me goodbye as she left. I noticed a subtle smile on her lips. Why did she react that way? It felt like something was being planned. I decided to distract myself and took out my cell phone. I didn't text anyone except my parents and Cyra; instead, I scrolled through Zyrone's photos in my gallery, capturing a range of emotions.
As I listened to the conversations behind me, I leaned back in my chair to eavesdrop on the women at the other table. I'm not usually one to pry, but something compelled me to listen. Instinctively, I tried to get closer to hear better.
"How's your love life, Bro?" one of them asked the other, whose name I didn't know. I wasn't interested in their appearances, just their conversation.
"Without Asteria, my life is hell," the other replied seriously, with a hint of regret in her eyes. I could sense the pain she was feeling. Then, there was a mention of a girl named Kate Brillantes, which caught my attention.
The mention of Kate piqued my curiosity. Could this be the Kate who caused issues in my relationship with my wife? I strained my eyes to see in the dimly lit bar and was shocked to see Kian, whom I had missed for a long time, and Brix, her friend, among the group. The familiarity of the faces stirred up emotions.
Cyra returned, breaking my thoughts. "Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" she remarked, drawing attention to us. I felt a mix of annoyance and relief at her interruption.
"Estria?" Kian questioned, then turned her gaze towards me. Her eyes widened, and dhe stood up.
"Asteria?" She uttered, her voice filled with emotion. Uncertain of how to react, I raised a hand in greeting. It was a brief acknowledgment, and I wasn't sure if she heard it amidst the commotion. She swiftly approached and embraced me tightly, as if there were no tomorrow.
I was unsure how to respond, so I let out a nervous laugh, gently pushing him away before making a quick exit. As I ran off, I heard his determined declaration that he would find me. I found a nearby park and sat on a swing, trying to catch my breath. Cyra joined me, sighing as she sat beside me.
"I should have told you this earlier," she began.
"Told me what?" I asked, feeling tired and bewildered by the earlier encounter. I hadn't anticipated such a meeting, and it left me on edge.
"Kate isn't pregnant, Asteria. She's not pregnant," she revealed softly. I furrowed my brow in confusion, struggling to process this new information.
"Please explain. I've been talking to her," my voice grew hoarse.
"Before you left, Kian told me," she continued, recounting the events."She convinced Kate that she wasn't actually pregnant. Yusei and I tried to reach you, but you had already left by the time we got to the airport. She's been caught," she explained sadly.
"But why did they kiss?" tears welled up in my eyes as I grappled with the revelations.
"That was part of her plan," Cyra admitted, acknowledging the deception. She had intended to tell me sooner to avoid further complications. The weight of the situation overwhelmed me, and tears streamed down my face.
"I can't handle this anymore. I don't know what to do," I cried out. Cyra stood up and comforted me, offering a sympathetic embrace as I let out my emotions.
"It's late for me to say this, but I hope you both can work things out, especially for the sake of your child," she expressed, gently rubbing my back. Unable to respond, I continued to cry, trying to process it in my mind.
