Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV
"Kian..." I called, but she ignored me. She
always ignores me."Daddy, Mommy called you," our son said,
taking a bite of his food. She still didn't
respond to me. She stood up and looked
directly at our son."Zyrone, let's go. I'm going to pick you up," she said and walked out, not even glancing at me. Zyrone approached me.
"Did you and Daddy fight?" he asked sadly.
He didn't like the idea. I shook my head."No, baby" I smiled at him.
"Alright, go to your Daddy. She might get bored and leave you," i told him. I can't tell him that his Daddy and I are really fighting. He's too young to understand. He kissed my cheek.
"Bye, Mommy" I said goodbye as he left. I
smiled bitterly. Why is it that when Kian and i are doing well, there's always a problem? We can't be happy all the time. Problems are part of human life. I cleaned up and went to my room.Instead of sulking here, I'll go to the coffee shop. There's something I need to take care of. She set me up, and I didn't tell Kian the truth. She didn't want to listen, and she shut
me out. I thought I should talk to that girl.
When I entered the coffee shop, I saw Felix. He approached me."Hello, Asteria," he greeted with a smile. I
smiled back."Hello," I greeted. We sat at a table.
"Why are you sad? ls there a problem?" he
asked. I smiled bitterly. It seems I always have a problem when we meet. He's always been a listener or helper. I nodded."It's Kian. She's not herself anymore."
"Kian? Ah, your wife. What did she do?" he
asked with concern."She doesn't pay attention to me," I said weakly, tears forming in my eyes.
"Why?" he asked. I told him everything that
happened, including waking up in a hotel."So you were set up. Does Kate have a grudge against you?" he asked, holding his chin. I nodded.
"Yes, because she used to be close to Kian," i
answered. He nodded in understanding."Your wife needs to know the truth," he said,
looking intently at the table, as if feeling guilty."I told her i'll explain, but she said she didn't
need an explanation," I said, lowering my head, tired of everything."If your wife really loves you, she'll listen to
your explanation," he said, tapping the table. I was about to speak when someone called my name."Asteria!" a familiar voice called. Ilooked up
and saw anger in her eyes."Kian,' I said softly. She grabbed my wrist and pulled me up.
"Let's go home' she said sternly, glaring at
Felix before pulling me out."Slowly, Kian" I said, worried I might fall and
harm our baby. She didn't listen and continued to pull me.When we reached her car, she roughly sat me in the front seat. I held tightly to the dashboard to avoid getting hurt. She got in and started the car quickly. When we got home, she dragged me to our room and pushed me onto the bed.
"Asteria, what's going on?!" she shouted
angrily, her eyes burning. I was afraid."I'm just talking to him, Kian," I said, trying to calm her. She grabbed my arm.
"Talking or flirting?" she asked angrily. Is that how she sees me? A flirtatious woman? I shook my head.
"Kian, believe me. Felix and I aren't doing
anything wrong," I cried. She just laughed and pinned me down, climbing on top of me."Do you think i'll believe you?" she asked coldly.
"No, Asteria." She kissed me violently,
punishingly."Kian, this is not right," I begged, but she
ignored me. She removed my clothes and
touched me roughly."Please stop" I cried, already hurting.
"Why? Don't you like it? ls it better with your
men?" she sneered. I cried even more.
Felix was right. If she really loves me, she'll
listen to my explanation. She'll believe me
more than her own assumptions. After she
insulted me, she pulled me up. I was getting
dressed when suddenly my stomach cramped."Ouch!" I screamed in pain, holding my
stomach."Don't act," she said and pushed me, making
my stomach hurt even more."Kian, take me to the hospital, please," I cried, begging. I can't bear to lose our child.
"Hospital?" she asked. I nodded.
"Please..." I begged.
"Stop acting" she said and started to leave.
"Kian! I'm bleeding. Please take me to the
hospital. The baby might die," I said
hysterically, my face full of tears. She looked at my bloodied thigh."You're pregnant?!" she asked. I nodded.
"Whose baby is it?" she asked, approaching
me."It's yours, Kian,"l cried, worried about my
Condition."Mine? Maybe it's one of your lovers," she said. My cry got louder.
"I want you to believe me, please," i begged.
She shook her head and was about to leave."Save the baby, please," I cried. She ignored me and left. I won't forgive her if something
happens to our baby! I screamed and fell weak. I don't know what happened next. My vision went dark, and I fell to the floor. My baby.. I need my baby. I don't know what to do if I lose it.
