Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV

"Will you return?" Cyra inquired as we watched SpongeBob.

"Why?" I frowned. Does she not want me here anymore?

"So that you and your wife can fix your problems," she said coolly.

I took a bite of mango and replied, "We don't have any issues.'"

"Isn't there an issue?"

"You know you have to confront the problem. Don't avoid it," I suddenly stopped eating because of what she said. She really understood the point.

"But Cyra, I'm scared," I confessed.

"You're resilient, aren't you?" I nodded in agreement.

"That's how it goes. So handle the issues," she urged, moving forward slightly.

"Tell Kian how you feel. Even if she listens or not, at least you expressed yourself," I nodded in agreement with her advice.

"You have a point."

"So you're heading home?" My eyes narrowed at her words. Why does it feel like someone is scheming?

"Are you kicking me out?" I joked with her.

"Hey, No," she replied, chuckling.

"Defensive."

"Not really"

"Don't worry, tomorrow I'll be back home."

"Really?" She asked, her face lighting up with happiness.

"Yes, so that you and Yusei can bond here," she suddenly blushed at my words, her cheeks reddening.

"Hey, I'm feeling tired. I'll leave you here for now," I said goodbye to her and headed upstairs. Entering the guest room, and I closed my eyes.

Kian Calen Levington POV

"What's the new, Big Sis Kian?" Lucian inquired as we gathered at our house.

"Well, perhaps she'll return tomorrow," I replied before taking a sip of coffee.

"Are you certain?" I simply nodded in response.

"Hey, how are you and Aeris?" I inquired.

"It's alright," she replied.

"Did you make my sister cry?" I asked, getting serious. She shook her head in denial.

"No," she replied succinctly.

"I see," I nodded.

If she ever makes my sister cry, I won't hesitate to confront her. It's ironic, isn't it? It's like I'm not just hurting her sister, but her as well. And I'm certain that when she finds out, there will be consequences.

Cyra Smith POV

I haven't informed Kian that Asteria will be coming home tomorrow because I don't want to influence their decision. Additionally, I want to surprise Kian when Asteria arrives home. I can see that she's worried about Asteria.

Asteria was the only one who seemed to be pondering deeply. Sometimes, she's right. But they're married, and I hope they can work things out. Asteria and I are here in the guest room, where she usually sleeps.

"Bestie, do you think Kian will be happy when I come home?" she asked as she folded clothes and packed them into the suitcase.

"Yes," I assured her.

"What if she's happy for me to leave?" she pondered aloud, her thoughts drifting towards negativity once more.

"I just made it difficult for her."

"I think Kian will come find you if she doesn't want you to leave," my best friend countered, refusing to accept defeat.

"You know Mommy and Daddy just instructed her to find me," she said sadly.

"She's sincere" because I haven't told her yet that Kian loves her very much.

Sorin Alvarez POV

I'm aware they're searching for Asteria. Asteria didn't even tell me where she was when I asked her via text. I overheard the conversation between Kian and Cyra. I love Asteria, so I won't allow her to end up with that shameless girl again. She always makes her cry. She doesn't deserve Asteria. Asteria deserves someone like me who will treat her better.

What I want I get. I know I am such a selfish person. What I want I can get.

"What's your plan for getting Asteria to Kian?" Alex asked me. Alex is one of my closest friends. I can truly trust her.

"I'll get her using Kate," I replied.

"But how?" Alex inquired.

"Tell me about it first," she said, while i taking a sip of wine from my glass.

You're correct. Kate Brillantes is the girl I'm referring to, and she's with Kian. She has to follow my orders to her, why? Because she owes me a debt for her mother's treatment. Since she has nothing else to offer as payment, she'll comply with all my commands. Back in college, I already had feelings for Asteria. So when she married Kian, that's when I decided to use Kate.

I intend to use her to flirt with Kian, ultimately causing a rift in the relationship between her and Asteria. And now, I'll make Kate do even more. Truth be told, Kate doesn't really like or love Kian, because I know that Kate's true affection lies with none other than my sister, Yusei.

Kate Brillantes POV

"I love you, Cyra," Yusei declared, kissing Cyra.

"I love you too, Yusei," Cyra responded, her words causing a surge of jealousy to well up inside me, threatening to bring tears to my eyes.

It was Sorin's fault if she let me confess to Yusei. I'm probably happy now. I'm actually here at the park because I'm following Yusei and Cyra. That Cyra is annoying, one day Yusei will get into it too. So I should hurry up to break the relationship between Kian and Asteria.

I feel sorry for Asteria; she doesn't know that Kian loves her. And there's Kian, always hurting Asteria. Their love story is so beautiful. If only I could refrain from destroying their relationship. I still root for those two. If I hadn't followed Sorin's orders, maybe even Mama would feel sorry for me. I would also like to be friends with Asteria, but it's not possible. I've committed too many sins against her.

Lucian Averix POV

"Are you excited about our wedding?" Aeris asked me. I'm really mad at her. I'm just pretending to love her so that Mom and Dad don't feel bad for me. It's okay if I disobey them because they want Aeris and me to get married.

"No," I replied coldly. I tend to be cold and harsh towards her when we're alone.

"Why don't you like me?" Aeris asked, her voice tinged with hurt.

"Because I want someone else, and it's not you," a tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Why? Who do you want?" Aeris asked, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Do you truly wish to find out? Huh!?" She retreated due to my raised voice directed at her.

"W-who?"

"Stella . What are you happy no about what you found out?"

"What does she have that I don't have?"

"She's not mean, she's beautiful, there's a spark when I see her and you're just being destructive." after I told her those words she slapped me and ran away.

Aeris Levington POV

It's painful to realize that the person you love doesn't love you back. Ouch. I ran and sought solace in the park. Why, Stella? She's close to me, my best friend.

Unaware that Stella was also vying for Lucian's affection, I'm left wondering what qualities she possesses that I lack. Why? Pain is pain. I regret asking her about her feelings for her, only to discover she loves my best friend.
