Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV

I'm smiling as I recall the recent date I had with Kian, she is incredibly sweet and never fails to make me happy.

"It's my turn," she said, taking the shrimp I was holding from my hand.

"I can do it," I replied, taking it back from her. She gave me a sharp look.

"It's me," she said softly. I simply nodded and watched her skillfully peel the shrimp. After she finished peeling it, she instructed, "Open your mouth, wife."

I nodded and opened my mouth as she fed me the shrimp. I smiled as I savored the delicious taste, remembering how much I had craved it yesterday.

"I want more," I requested.

"Okay, okay," she replied, continuing to peel more shrimp. I watched her with enjoyment as she worked.

"Eat some too," I offered her a shrimp, even though it was still closed.

"My wife," she teased, and I laughed, pinching her cheek. "That's fine. You're still incredibly beautiful," I reassured her, causing her to nod, still sniffling.

"If it's not for my love," she whispered, catching me off guard.

"Are you saying something?" I squinted at her, and she quickly shook her head.

"Nothing, wife," she replied swiftly.

She took me to a seafood restaurant where I enjoyed the shrimp I had been craving. My friend, Cyra, joined us, and we had a great time. Zyrone was busy playing with Arianna at their house, showing his affection for her. Oh, that's my child, always full of surprises.

"I'm just happy, Bestie," I responded to Cyra's teasing. She poured juice into her glass and took a sip, contemplating my joyful demeanor.

"Bestie, when do you think the timing is right?" I asked her, hinting at a surprise I had in mind. She seemed puzzled but intrigued.

"Good timing? For what?" she inquired, curious.

"I'm pregnant, but Kian doesn't know yet. I want to surprise her," I revealed, causing her eyes to widen in excitement.

"Oh my gosh! Are you really pregnant? Your wife is quite the sharpshooter," she remarked with a laugh.

"Maybe tell her when she's in a good mood, in a romantic setting. Let her truly feel the moment you share the news of your pregnancy. Let her know she's going to be a mother again," she advised as I sipped on water.

"I'm so excited. Help me prepare our house. I'll tell her soon," I promised with a smile, and Cyra agreed to assist.

"I'll definitely help, my bestie," she agreed, taking another sip of water.

"Your wife will be overjoyed when she finds out," she reassured me. Just then, we heard Arianna scream, so we hurried to the living room to see what had happened.

"Arianna, what's wrong?" Cyra asked her daughter, who seemed flustered. I glanced at Zyrone and noticed a similar expression on his face. Arianna ran to her mother, tearfully exclaiming, "Mom, I lost my first kiss."

"What do you mean?" Cyra asked, puzzled. Zyrone then approached Cyra and confessed, "I kissed her, Aunt."

My eyes widened in surprise. "Baby, why did you kiss her? You're still young," I scolded him, approaching Zyrone.

"Because I like her, Mommy," he bravely admitted.

"Oh my, Arianna has a future husband," Cyra exclaimed happily.

"Mom!" Arianna protested, her face turning red. Zyrone approached Arianna and kissed her again.

"Why did you kiss me again?" Arianna asked, wide-eyed.

"Arianna, I won't apologize for kissing you. I did it because I wanted to. Remember, you're mine," Zyrone declared, displaying his father's assertiveness.

"Zyrone! You're still young; you shouldn't kiss her. This is not good," Cyra intervened, pulling me aside.

"Let them be. You're overreacting. I'd rather Arianna end up with Zyrone than anyone else," Cyra sided with my son.

"It's you. Our kids are still young," I complained, but Cyra laughed out loud.

"For a woman, your son is something else," she teased.

"Don't worry. If Zyrone's infatuation with Arianna isn't serious, it'll fade away," she assured me.

"Aren't you afraid of hurting your daughter by chance?" I inquired, concerned.

"No, Asteria. Pain is a part of life and makes us stronger," she philosophized, and I nodded, acknowledging the truth in her words.

"You're right. Pain teaches us to be strong in life," I agreed, reflecting on my own experiences with pain.

As I sat in a restaurant, Kate Brillantes, the woman who had a significant impact on my marriage, approached me. She seemed pleased to see me and initiated a conversation. Kate's presence brought back memories of the past, and I felt a mix of emotions as we engaged in a conversation.
