Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV

Kian is so annoying. She appears suddenly and then leaves immediately. She ran away again. When she held her phone, she looked like she was gripping it tightly. It looked really fragile; even a slight grip could break the screen. She might say there's an emergency at the company, but she can't fool me anymore. Like, duh. She said there was an emergency because of Kate. It's Really annoying. Eventually, I lost my company.

So, in a fit of anger, I want to imitate what Cyra was doing earlier with the apple. As soon as Kian came, I lost my company. So what am I going to do here alone? Meditate? Talk to the wall? The tiles, blankets, and pillows? This is what I don't like about being in the hospital. There's nothing to do, and it's really boring. By the way, I'm still the type of person who gets really frustrated when there's nothing to do.

I tried to stand, and I managed to. I was about to walk to the apple tree when I was startled by the door opening.

"What are you doing, my beautiful wife?" Kian said. I just fell in love with her. Now she's being tender because she knows she's done wrong. I just sat back on the bed.

"Why do you suddenly appear? Are you a mushroom?" I asked, irritated. She laughed and came over to me, sitting on the monoblock that was there.

"Mushroom? To your pretty one? Why!" Face thickness. But because it's true, I'll give it to you. Yes, she's really beautiful. My wife is really beautiful.

"Stop that. You still have a fault with me," I lay down and turned my back to her. I'm sulking, so she should coax me.

"Asteria Celeste Levington," she softly called me, caressing my back.

"Sorry if I lied to you."

"Yes, and you really managed to leave me," I teased her.

"So you don't want to lose me by your side?" She grabbed both of my arms and quickly made me face her.

"Hey," she still caressed and kissed my senses, so I closed my eyes. It's just so romantic for me. She came to my bed in the hospital and sat next to me. It turns out that we both fit here. She slid her hand around my waist and hugged me.

"It's like I've committed so many sins against you," she said while staring at my face. She seemed to have memorized it. I nodded.

"That's my point, Kian. That's why I don't want you to leave my side. I also need someone to be with," I explained.

"What if Sorin hadn't thought to visit? Who's going to help me then?" I said hesitantly. There was sadness in my voice. She frowned and seemed to be triggered by what I said.

"I know it's my fault, Estria. But can you please not talk about that Sorin?" I just get angrier at myself because she was there when I wasn't. You couldn't even help. She broke away from hugging me and stood up.

"Kian," I called her, but she just kept going out. I could see the frustration on her face. What have you done again, Asteria? But I did the right thing, didn't I? It was only right that I told her because it was true.

Sorin Alvarez POV

"How's your acting going?" I asked Kate, curious if my plan is progressing.

"I can sense they're already fighting," she said, laughing even more villainously on the other line. It seems like the tide has turned, and she's now satisfied with what she's doing.

"Good then," I replied tersely. I just grinned and hung up. Kian might have arrived, she said goodbye, and I heard the call end. It's a sign that our conversation is over. It's just a matter of time before I get Asteria. I'm pleased with the visible improvement.
