Y/n and Venti continued their flight on the back of Dvalin, their banter and laughter echoing through the sky. The wind whipped through their hair and clothes, imbuing them with an exhilarating sense of freedom as the scorching sun beat down upon their skin.

Dvalin's majestic wings carried them effortlessly. His scales glistened and shimmered in the bright light, casting a dazzling display of colors that seemed to shift and change with every beat of his powerful wings.

"Hey, Dvalin, do you have a bar cart on this flight? I could really use a drink." Venti asked.

Y/n chimed in, "Yeah, Dvalin, I heard your in-flight meals are just raw meat. Do you have any vegetarian options?"

Dvalin rolled his eyes, "Very funny, you two."

As they looked over to Mondstadt from afar, they could see wisps of smoke rose from the battlefield, a grim reminder of the chaos and destruction that lay ahead. The metallic clangs of swords and shields clashing and the roar of dragons filled the air, igniting a thrill of excitement in Y/n's veins.

"Let us not forget the gravity of your impending battle," Dvalin interjected, a deep sigh punctuating his words.

Undeterred, Y/n continued, "But first, let me impart some wisdom to you, dear Venti. 'Slay' is the perfect descriptor for a person's awe-inspiring appearance or a flawless performance."

A quizzical expression crossed Venti's face, prompting Y/n to clarify. "For example, 'Wow, they're slaying' or 'They slayed that performance.'"

Venti rubbed his chin in contemplation. "Ah, I see. Y/n, you're slaying."

Satisfied with his progress, Y/n moved on to her next linguistic lesson. "Now, 'yeet' is a word used to indicate throwing something a great distance. Give it a try, Venti."

Venti's brow furrowed. "Are you certain that 'yeet' is a legitimate term?"

Y/n's head bobbed enthusiastically. "Absolutely!"

Dvalin, on the other hand, was not amused. "I can't believe I have to endure this frivolity. Can we focus on our mission?"

Ignoring the dragon's pleas, Y/n teased, "Oh Dvalin, don't be such a boomer. You should try to keep up with the times."

Dvalin growled in frustration. "I am a dragon, not a boomer! I cannot deal with the two of you. Xiao is much more quiet."

Y/n and Venti erupted in laughter as Dvalin shook his head in disbelief. These two were undoubtedly going to be the death of him.

As they approached the battlefield, Y/n and Venti couldn't help but chuckle at Dvalin's landing speech, which was delivered with all the formality of a seasoned pilot.

"We are beginning our descent and we expect to have you on the ground in one minute. Thank you for flying with us today, we hope the next time you travel we'll see you again on Dvalin Airlines."

Venti leaned in to whisper to Y/n, "I don't think Dvalin is very happy with us right now."

Y/n laughed. "Who cares? We're having fun."

With a graceful dismount, Y/n and Venti sprinted towards the battle, eager to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.

"Thanks for the ride, Dvalin!" Venti called out.

Dvalin let out a long-suffering sigh. "Sometimes I wonder if I'm more of a babysitter than a dragon. If it weren't for my loyalty to Barbatos, I would have dropped you two a long time ago."
