"To be a hero, one often has to play the villain. In a world on the brink of chaos, can you tell which is which?"
A.N:
So uhh...yes, I drew this. I have to admit that most of my OCs may bear a striking resemblance to certain anime or game characters. My bad! It's just my imagination at work, picturing them this way.
But here's the kicker: these characters are 100% my brainchildren. They may look similar, but they're unique individuals. So, please remember that while appreciating my "lack of creativity" art.
Allow me to reacquaint you with my cast, starting from Y/n and moving clockwise in the artwork. Keep in mind, this is just a snapshot of the characters in their current state (mostly from y/n's viewpoint in Act 2). They're not static - they will evolve, their storylines will expand, and their descriptions will invariably shift as new elements of their lore are revealed.
Y/n:
Let me introduce you to our main character. You could say she's pretty much ageless, considering the universe's funny little quirk of locking her up either in a meteorite or a cube-shaped jail cell for a significant part of her life. Talk about cosmic irony! Now, if we choose to ignore her cosmic time-outs, she's just tipping the scale at a merely 200 years. Not bad, huh?
This introverted tech-aficionado tends to retreat into her personal teapot realm, hoarding her passions for video games and ice cream like precious gems. Empowered beyond comprehension thanks to the hand-me-down might from Freyr's phone (talk about generous tech upgrades), she doesn't actually own these powers - they're borrowed from the phone's trio of developers.
Watch out for her eyes, they're a dead giveaway when she's tapping into her powers - glowing and unveiling a unique star-shaped mark. A hint of Khaenri'ahn lineage, perhaps? We'll leave that for you to figure out. Blessed (or cursed?) with hyperthymesia, she holds a perfect record of her life, etched into her memory with pinpoint precision. Don't let her casual jokes and easygoing demeanor fool you - when Y/n drops the laughter and gets down to business, your best bet is to make a swift exit.
Cleo:
Y/n's bosom buddy since their school days on Earth. While they don't share any blood ties, Y/n regards Cleo as a member of her family. Cleo's past is woven with enigma and unanswered questions. She doesn't know her birth parents, possessing only an old photograph that carries their smiling faces, a testament to a history she can't recall.
Adopted as an infant, Cleo was brought into the fold of a new family. Her adoptive mother is a figure cloaked in mystique, and while she had a close professional association with Y/n's parents, her own interactions with Y/n have always been curiously limited. Despite the obvious affection she holds for the girl, she mostly avoids direct conversations with Y/n, a puzzling behavior that often leaves Cleo scratching her head in bemusement. The depth of their family ties is evident, but the undercurrents and reasons remain concealed, making Cleo's connection with Y/n's family both heartwarming and mysterious.
